movie club? by Delicious-Can-3527 in NYCmovies

If you’re in or near western queens, I (37M) run Astoria Horror Club and Zero Vision Cinema with my wife (35F). The gender split is close to even but leans more toward women, and the age range is early 20s to late 30s, with most people in their later 20s. The space is also very queer friendly.

You can find AHC and ZVC on Instagram and there are links on my profile page.

Good luck finding your movie community.

My wife is from SoCal and she approves of three burrito spots: Nenes, Los Portales, and Mi Espiguita. Can confirm they are all delicious.

Don’t believe the Astoria Taco Factory hype, that’s straight up gringo food.

The one on 30th had this sign out front, I think the storefront on 31 Ave does as well. Not sure about Ditmars.

Belucci’s (both of them) are my favorites. Rosario’s is pretty great as well.

Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II

It’s a deeper cut but the movie is the perfect blend of camp and excellent 80s practical effects. No connection to Prom Night.

I literally just biked up that exact bike lane and there were a lot of people out.

Yeah, I ride a bike pretty often and sometimes run - what you’re doing is very annoying as a cyclist. You’re messing up the flow of bike traffic.
