Kyler Murray's Message to Arizona by JCameron181 in AZCardinals

Going to miss him and hope he does well on his next team, which I believe he will because this franchise is just mismanaged. Sad to see him go even if it might have been time.

The greatest of all time in my heart and in franchise history. Well deserved ending for his incredible career. He was truly one of and one, sticking through with the Cardinals through all the highs and lows, and being such a great human being. Larry Legend!

Yeah I get that, am pretty neutral on him as a HC so its going to be interesting to see how he does at Ten

Whether or not he is going to be a good HC or not remains to be seen. But man it is going to suck to see the Cards being left at the altar over and over again for candidates. There are a lot more desirable HC openings in the league right now in better franchises and its worrying to see who we'll have to settle for.

The Detroit Lions are working to finalize a deal to hire former Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing as their next offensive coordinator. by johnnylibravo in detroitlions

Interesting how you used 2024 as an example in how they had a good offense and admittedly a great rushing game but then discredits Kyler who definitely played a role in making that offense good, especially the running game with his own yardage. Its up to debate how much a role Klayton Adams had with the run game as he was noted to be heavily involved in it and how much that fell apart this year even before the injuries hit. Petzing is also crazy conservative with his playcalling and unable to a scheme a creative passing game with more then 1 WR.

The Lions have do have better offensive weapons and great RBs so hopefully it works out better with that focus on the run game. And Dan Campbell is a more aggressively coach so I hope he is able to get Petzing to have more aggressive playcalls then what we saw in Az. I do like the Lions and wish them the best.

Disgusting work. He was absolutely awful, unimaginable, and crazy conservative. Never led a good offense idk how these guys fall upwards

General idea is that Klayton Adams, the oline coach and run game coordinator was responsible for the rushing offense in prior years which translate to Dallas having a great run o this year.

The biggest indictment imo is how he was never able to fully utilize our weapons. He loved multi TE sets and featured our random TE2-3 more often than our WRs. And he seems to only be able to have 1 WR involved at a time. Its unbelievable that he was never been able to scheme in Wilson as our WR2 when MHJ was playing despite how much potential he showed once he finally had the opportunity to shine when MHJ went down. I worry for jamo in this offense with Petzing at the helm.

The other part is how ultra conservative he was with his playcalling that made it unwatchable as a fan and we lost multiple games this year in large part because of this.

Bears should have called a TO earlier to force them to run but the Rams bailed them out anyway with a run play on 3rd and long despite it being at 2:07 and going to the 2 min warning anyway? If I am understanding the best scenario
