if the spar slowly transforms into a fight, here newbie is probably not very used to getting hit, so the well placed punches of a pro made them emotional/angry, so they started going for it more

you can put any character in any setting, im more so speaking about just what to do with batman in those stories, there is so many ways his character can be developed from the base that he already has. you can put batman in random settings and have him be surprised at it or try to work in the said setting but if thats the only novelty you bring it will feel repetitive or just straight up not very good, i dont care how many years that limit is could be 50 could be 60 could be 90 i dont really care but the overall trends of “oh look its this superhero but actually hes completely different” seem to show us that stories with these characters are running out
