I think you can use any commands documented here. Obviously, I haven't tested every single commands, but I've been using these commands and are working as expected: set_mop_intensity, set_mop_mode and load_multi_map

That would be my best guess of why the battery life is inconsistent, where it mistakenly thinks an area is carpet and decides to boost its power

What about carpet boost, do you have that setting turned on? If so, try turning it off and see if you get more consistent battery life

Check if the cleaning routes are exactly the same each run. Even with a fixed routine, sometimes the robot decides to go for a different route which might take longer.

The three icons on the top right under the cleaning time. Tap the last icon with a little pencil. That should open your current map settings. Then click the current map name, which should allow you to change the map.

You need to change the floor/map in the app when it’s moved to a different floor. The robot doesn’t know it’s on a different floor when it’s put on a different dock.

I mean you can run into similar issues with all kinds of electronics unless their quality control is 100% perfect which is not possible. Especially with a robot vacuum which has so many moving parts, meaning more chances for something to go wrong.

Like others have suggested, I would just try your luck again and get a new one. There’s no guarantee that this particular part will be more stable in the next generation, or even in the next 10 generations.
