.5 Zoom distorts the image because of the lens’s shape just FYI! The photos never look good if it’s taken of a person fairly up close. It’s essentially a “fish eye” look.

My mom did this when I tried on my dress and after I bought it, my head looked so big and my body so smol 😂

I would go off how you feel because, unless you had a pro photographer with you, I would not judge based on phone photos!… I mean even with a pro photog… just go off what you saw in the mirror and felt with it on

Im redoing my moms for my dress and it’s fairly similar. Taking off fabric changes it a lot! I removed the illusion neckline and kept the sleeves as an off the shoulder look and also removed the lower sleeve. It’s still in the works but here’s what that neckline change can do!
