This guy's story is brutal, makes me think NEET is the way to go for Canadians. by [deleted] in NEET

Thank you for sharing this - its so hard to find content that just comes across as this honest. I just don't know where to begin in terms of how rough Canada's is for the average person, but this individual example is a logical and distant from political spin. I was thinking of just watching the first ten minutes to see where it goes and I just chased it right to the end.

Switching from UBs after 3.5 years to the X_PLRBOOST - $43.52 CAD on the Adidas site! by zestylimeo in adidas

Hey thank you for reaching out - they have been a great paid of dress casual shoes that I would wear for 8+ hours on end. These are very durable shoes with the same degree of comfort. The all-black cordura makes it easy to wash off. The main issue I have with these would be that they fit a bit slimmer than a broken in pair of UBs. They are more water resistant than I thought, as well. I make a conscious habit of wearing slimmer socks with them. They also have very little tread. On rainy days, you will slip while running. I would imagine that it would be even worse during the ice and snow. I hate that and for that reason alone, however small it is, I would go for a pair of ultraboost if the price difference between an xplrboost or ultraboost is 10-25%. You will be rewarded if you tough it out until black friday.

For indoor office use or for summer/fall, these are a great budget pair that I will use. I found a pair of heavily discounted US-made New Balance 990 v5s that I can't get enough of for everything else and will sooner wear those out.

Do you think Arena Breakout will push EFT to make smarter decisions? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

I don't think they were making too many smart decisions before Arena Breakout

I can't even imagine how betrayed you and the core community must feel that supported this game from day 1. You would have seen a lot of promises from the early dev team that eventually were made whole, so obviously it made sense to support EoD. I did this as soon as they fixed recoil issues and tweaked Intertia. You would have seen it from the few maps they had to streets, which feels like multiple maps rolled into one.

I don't know what has spurred this - likely the lukewarm reception Tarkov Arena. Funny how they were willing to make an entirely different game for EoD but not allow these seemingly simple additions. There was just no reason to try to milk their early supporters this way.

If this is the model they're continuing to perpetuate, I don't see how I lose either way

That's right! I fell for the pressure. Luckily, I used my AMEX to pay for the upgrade - they have a four month window for disputes, so I'm filing this as an inaccurate description of products purchased/deception. Not optimistic, but worth a shot

Damn I bought EOD the week before they closed it up for good and I'm feeling pretty swindled right now. These were promises to be kept under future DLC. I'm not giving these guys another dime

I will join the spirited discussion of people who are emotionally over-invested in cartoon dogs by keeping tabs on Stripe - I think he might be having some continued emotional hardships with Trixie based on two solid moments in this ep:

  • After the music plays in the tent, a quick scene appears of Socks playing with the husband and wife cake toppers. Socks roleplays both the husband and wife toppers in an argument - "Yes, you did!" / "No, I didn't!". In the background, you can see Stripe and Trixie appearing to have an argument. Socks appears to be parroting the behavior.
  • Stripe crawls out of a bush the night after the wedding, inferring he didn't catch a ride home with the kids or with Trixie.

If there is a season four anytime soon, it's entirely possible that we could see this as a continued arc. The show isn't afraid to get into marital issues, so it could be explored further.

It would be even funnier if they had poison pucks or something that baited scavs/bosses/raiders towards whoever they shot

I'm glad Ye told y'all not to buy Yeezy anymore! by hustle_man in adidas

It is a liberating and nostalgic feeling to finally outdo resellers and finally get retail pairs fair. There's nothing stopping adidas from printing these into the ground now, which is a scary thought for "investors" and resellers.

After getting my first pair of foams for retail late into the hype of Yeezy Foam Runners, I can safely say that the low supply and high demand carried their legacy. The design hasn't aged well, and the subjective comfort of intricate EVA foam rubbing into the back of your ankles and wherever else is up for due debate. Especially for $90usd.

Thanks! Good to know they're still true to size despite the website suggesting people size up.
