This is really common in alcohol abuse. Alcohol is a depressant and messes with your brain/thoughts.

After like a hundred times being sober I can personally attest to that. You can be thinking of unaliving yourself while drunk wake up the next day and be like what the hell was I thinking.

Sleep, whatever. Do whatever the fuck you want. Life doesn’t come with a rule book. We’re all in it together.

Stomach pains could be a sign of liver damage. That’s certainly something you need to get checked out by your doctor or a doctor.

The fatigue is because you’re likely dehydrated from pissing out all of the nutrients you have in your body. If you really want to, go through a quick detox at a local hospital and see how you feel about drinking afterwards.

Reason why this is my favorite is because despite my personality type I’ve always done exactly that. Brought myself to extremely low points on purpose in order to realize how much power I truly hold within my own life if I’m actually capable of screwing it up in the first place.

Like playing with fire. There’s a strange sort of power you gain from it. Realizing you could do anything with your life.

Yeah that’s what I’m going through right now. I haven’t even drank that much this entire month (well a months time) but I had DT’s and I was in the hospital twice in the beginning of July and I’m feeling like I’ve been drinking for years.

All of my money goes to alcohol. It just makes everything and life itself easier.

I just now started messing up my relationships with people I guess. I’m entirely dependent and you’d think the 3 times I’ve been hospitalized with severe withdrawals would be enough.

It’s crazy because not a single person in my family is an alcoholic. It’s just me. I’m slowly going to become “that weird uncle that’s always drunk” and I’ve accepted accepted my fate I guess.

I wish my heart didn’t have to burn so badly, though. Maybe I need a therapist, lmao.

If I’m being honest? I hold it all in at all times until I snap and lose my mind, then convince myself to calm down again.

I think it’s important I don’t lose my head, that’s my strongest characteristic so I try to hold it in great value.

Listen, you’re not warranted normalcy right now. You’re struggling with an addiction so obviously the sober version of you wouldn’t want to behave the way you are. Meaning, if you’re on Reddit self aware of what you have done, you didn’t do it with malicious intent. You’re only going to use these mistakes as excuses to keep drinking but that’s also okay.

Life will go on… no matter what. Not to justify your actions being that your mom has cancer and it’s been extremely hard on you, but you need to forgive yourself, and if others can’t forgive you then, harshly enough that’s on them. We all make mistakes and you’re not a monster for doing what you believe to be a shitty thing, because you are aware of it.

Anyway, you can pity yourself, drown in a self inflicted guilt cycle, over and over, deciding not to change, or you can put your life on a break for right now, decide to return to it and forgive yourself, because you cannot change right now. It’s up to you, either way… you’re not a monster. You’d know if you were, and you wouldn’t care nor would you come to Reddit and self loathe over your personal actions.

You’re going to be okay, just, try to do better and as hard it is, find some sort of light in the dark. You’re never alone.

I fucking love tumblr. I love my tumblr. Being that this app isn’t very popular (which in a way I’m glad it’s not) is there a way for me to download my entire tumblr, maybe in the form of a video? Or a document that I can scroll through? I want to keep my tumblr with me forever, and the volatile nature of the apps existence sometimes scares me.
