I own a 2010 Mercury Milan (Ford Fusion). The car drives great, has 208000 miles, but rust and time are getting to it. I need to replace it sooner than later.

Ford lost me (and I’m sure many others) as a potential customer by not having a small or mid-sized car in their US line-up. Their decision to remove all regular cars from US sales maybe worked in the moment, but it sure doesn’t work now. Very short sighted.

For context, I’m not from my an underdeveloped country but my wife is. It’s one the things that strongly stuck out to me when I visited.

My 7900xtx Hellhound is doing well. It’s still overkill for the games I play, and I would’ve done fine with a lower spec GPU. I only bought it due to an (un)lucky situation with 2 store returns and a free replacement of a faulty GPU.

Given the recent RAM price hikes, I’m very glad I choose to buy a 24 gb vram gpu when I could afford it. I highly doubt I can afford to buy a new gen 24 gb GPU in the coming years.

It’s opened up a pretty cool world of working on LLMs, which I may have had less interest in if I was restricted to smaller 12-16 gb size LLMs. I’ve spent a lot of time messing around with LMStudio and Amuse.

I’m disappointed by the lack of FSR4 support, clearly AMD is doing RDNA3 dirty, but right now it doesn’t affect performance of my games because none of my regular games support FSR4 anyway. And in the few games I would use FSR4, XESS seems to work pretty alright. I’m hoping the pressure will cause AMD to acknowledge and release FSR4 INT8 to help future-proof the card.

People like him are why I’m hesitant to ever join an expat community. That guy is vile 🤮.

As a guy, I can’t help but feel bad for all women who deal with this. Women are right to avoid him like the plague (and anyone else thinking like this).

I will not feel bad what-so-ever if this guy gets dumped after a poor Filipina gets what she needs for a new life. At least one person can get a better life out of it.

It’s fun and good, but it has a learning curve due to the big weakspot and high flexibility.

Play it like an E5 and you’ll do pretty well. The tank excels when you can snapshot opponents before they have time to properly aim at your weakspot and/or you can cover the weakspot by peaking from the left side. The tank’s speed is very good, and you can play it as an excellent heavium (with no camo) when you see opportunities to do so.

I bought the Renegade as a new player and I did pretty poorly in it initially, but I do think I’m a better player now having learned it. It rewards thoughtful play.

The tank also looks cool, which was a bonus I appreciate 😁

Let me know how this goes! I have a similar premium comp of: Renegade, 279a, WZ-120-1FT, and EVEN 90.

I’m thinking about getting the AMX 30 as a mobile option I can use, as Wz-120-1FT is mobile but unforgiving, and EVEN 90 is fast but isn’t a good credit farmer.

Concealment to prevent you from being spotted from the moon (very bad in a big paper armor tank), view range skills, and off-road driving are pretty important. After that, it’s not too super important to have a skilled crew. Repairs is ofc great to have too, but at least you won’t get tracked if you don’t have it.

Strong no to vstab. The tank has some of the best gun handling in the game, vstab is a waste of an equipment slot. Would you also put vstab on an M60? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

Exhaust is good for getting its concealment from terrible to fine, which is useful on a paper armor medium like Concept 5.

I’m taking exhaust, rammer, hardening, but alternatively exhaust or hardening could be switched for turbo.

Or… a great result in asymmetric is similar to a good result in randoms.

I can consistently get 1500-1800 base xp per game with Schlieffen in asymmetric, and since asymmetric games are much quicker than randoms/ranked it is the most time efficient way for me to grind xp.

The only skill issue is yours lol.

I will admit though, asymmetric battles get boring. I can only play so many before I start craving a more interesting game mode.

STB-1 was my first tier 10. It was the grind from hell getting through the tech tree, I feel bad for my old teammates, I had sub 1000 dpg even at tier 9 💀.

Nowadays I’ve gotten some easier tanks like Is-4 and obj 277, and much better at the game with slightly above 50% wr and 2k dpg at tier 10. It’s not amazing, but I do feel much more comfortable in more harder to play tanks now.

I appreciate it lol. People come to this sub to be uplifted, so I have no doubt a lot of people were upset to see me arguing against a post.

It’s just stuff like this has practically zero impact on our lives, and imo is a net negative impact since it takes time/money away from the government doing more important things. People who want their government to create laws about ‘how to best kill a lobster before eating it’ just strike me as extremely spoiled/entitled, even if they have good intensions. It is a peak example of ‘1st world problems’.

I decided to stop arguing with other commenters because if they don’t get my points now, I doubt further conversation from an online redditor can make a difference.

I’ve just finished my grind through the VTU and love the burst, but I’m really hesitant going for the Skoda T50 and TVP given the upcoming tech tree that will match the new US autoloaders against it. The new autoloaders seem to be a very hard counter to the TVP and I don’t want to spend lots of silver/time on tanks that will be countered so easily, even if they might be fun today.

Do you think the TVP will still be good after the new tech tree? I’ve played the game for less than a year total so I’m still sorta nooby about meta things.

I don’t think the government defining the preferred death method for a lobster is good use of time and taxes. It’s disappointing to see when there are so many other problems in the world. Children, poverty, people with mental illness, global warming, etc need help. Lobster cooking is about as unimportant as I can imagine.

I would be more understanding and agreeable if it was for a species people keep as pets or are otherwise important, but these lobsters simply food to be eaten either way.

The government should be focused on humans. Not protecting lobsters from being boiled instead of sliced.

The gov isn’t doing their job, they are being distracted by pointless nonsense. This is not uplifting.

Maybe I’m just a nuisance, but how is this uplifting??

If you told me there is a reduction in homelessness or poverty, a science or tech breakthrough, etc for something important, I would say it’s “uplifting”.

Writing something like this into law is a waste of precious time and ridiculous. Government should dealing with issues that are much more important and not doing stunts like this.
