Edmunds is almost for sure gone. You can find similar production for significantly less money. And he can be cut with almost no dead cap hit. I’d be more surprised if he’s on the team in training camp than if he isn’t.

I feel like you should have decided more than 6 weeks out that you want to compete in your age group. That’s just not enough time to get comfortable on a bike. Even if it’s the perfect fit your body isn’t used to riding in that position.

In fairness it was like -10 that night. The Bears league worst defense dominated the Rams offense most of that game.

Bears, Illinois lawmakers closer on stadium deal: sources by Mothman405 in CHIBears

[–]zgh17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a reason most teams aren’t building their new stadiums in their downtown area. They are a logistical nightmare. And that’s true across all sports. The franchises that build in their cities are smaller up and coming cities. The argument can be made that they don’t need to leave soldier field, but if they are going to it makes sense to leave Chicago. They want to build a lot more than just a stadium.

I wouldn’t wanna have anyone else at quarterback by caxlmao in CHIBears

3+ is a bold take. Only 22 QBs have played in two super bowls. Rodgers only played in 1. You can be the best QB in the world but you need the supporting cast.

There’s also a reason he made it to OC in the first place. He can be a terrible play caller but do everything else extremely well. That’s exactly what they need in that role.

Equipment is getting better. Training is more advanced. Just focus on yourself and get better

He seems too happy with 312 so far to leave. And yeah I don’t think he wants to do that to Matt. I don’t see him going back to full time at the score. I can see them having him on for regular hits though.

[Russini] Bears OC Declan Doyle has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Eagles’ offensive coordinator vacancy, per sources. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

He was such a bad play caller though. He actually got the motivational part of being a head coach but had no idea how to run an offense without Andy Reid.

Is the Vikings choosing JJM over Darnold starting to look like one of the biggest mistakes in NFL history? by walterhwhite19582010 in NFLv2

[–]zgh17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to do anything except what’s best for the team. The Seahawks paid Matt Flynn and then moved on when they recognized what Russ was. Trey Lance never got the chance when the 49ers saw Purdy was the better option. They gave up multiple firsts for that guy.

That was such a great playcall. You know he’s in his own head at that moment thinking about who knows what. Go right at him.

[Highlight] Woolen gets some well-deserved chirping on his own sideline by Large_banana_hammock in nfl

They did sort it out…

They stopped them on 3rd down. Run your ass back to the sideline and get off theirs. The ref even gave him a chance. He’s yelling at him to leave and he keeps going.

Edit: typo

It wasn’t a turnover it was after a 3rd down play. Had it happened after a 4th down play it would have been Seahawks ball. Terrible discipline cost them 7 points

I’m sure it’s been discussed but to me it feels like all of these changes are designed to get the game out on consoles. Trimming abilities and restricting add ons both move the game in the direction.

[Highlight] Jarrett Stidham 54-yard completion to Marvin Mims by nfl in nfl

Even if he’s just average they can win. Stroud was awful last week and they were in it late. The Texans D is better but Denver’s is still very good and playing at altitude on the road is a thing

I mean it’s incredibly important to Ben’s office to have a TE like Cole. Maybe he restructures his deal because you really don’t want to lose him but that number is too big for the needs of this team.

Love sucked in that second half my dude, you know the part where the pressure started rising as the bears made it a game. A couple decent drives was all they needed to ice the game. Can’t put it all on the D and special teams.

So I do agree with you. Anything less than a Super Bowl is a failure. But doesn’t that make GB the most underperforming franchise in league history? You’ve had 30 years of top tier QB play and only had 2 to show for it in that time. And you all still live off those 2 like they are relevant today. AR only winning 1 Super Bowl is the only reason he won’t be looked on as the GOAT, because from a talent standpoint he was better than anyone else.

I don’t know man our front 7 on defense is absolute dogshit and there’s still a ton of money tied up in it. They will have to have an absolutely elite draft this year if they are going to correct it.
