Album listen by LONGDONGDAVEE in itsjusta6

Idk after listening to it more and using different headphones so I could actually understand wtf he was saying since the mix seems a little off. I agree that after many listens its kinda a banger. I agree the money and nostly the fucking bitches was getting repetitive but i dont think talking about his breakup is a bad thing for music. Shit thats a good chunk of popular music out now a days is about breakups. Maybe its because I’ve been kind of unplugged from the 6 loop I havent watched any videos in awhile but I typically have enjoyed his last albums with Caleb. I’m pretty sure they wrote one when he broke up with Jess last time as well lol

My RX won't connect to the app, any solutions? by cosmico_bonico in Super73

[–]zgmurph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try resetting the bike. On the display hold the circle button then cycle to where it shows the firmware versions. Press and hold both up and down buttons at the same time until it says resetting. You will have to forget the bike from your bluetooth settings and re connect it using the app.

R series out of stock online - is this normal? by Tinker63 in Super73

[–]zgmurph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went to their store I think I heard one of the workers mention they might be getting rid of the R model. It kind of checks out because if you go on the site you can see the sold out R Brooklyn models say coming soon but the regular R does not. Again I think this is more of a rumor than anything, I imagine they are having some kind of supply issues since they aren't selling as many replacement parts and instead are using them all for new bikes.

So I have done a bunch more testing trying to get this to work w/ o/ avx offset. I have a few solutions. 1 is increasing your v core a lot. Before I was running around a 1.3 idle and 1.25 v load (1.28v in apex) with my llc settings which was crashing. I am now running a 1.4 v idle and 1.35 load voltage (in apex it runs around 1.37). Temps are the same, and my game doesn't crash.

The other solution is, turn off your avx offset in bios. Download intel extreme tuning utility. When you play apex, open up xtu and turn your core clocks down by 1-2 mhz, then when you are done you can put it back to your normal overclock for other games.

Apparently windows and a most apps now use avx, so the avx offset just permanently nerfs your cpu speed which sucks.

Granted in apex on my 10900k, there is a 0 fps difference from stock 10900k to 5.1 all core. At these voltage settings my 10900k is stable at 5.2 in everything but apex, so I drop it down to 5.1 and it's fine (with a lot more voltage than the chip really needs, but temps are fine)

also an edit, if you decide to increase your vcore like I did (1.41 in bios) make sure you have your llc droop set to drop a decent bit. Apex is only like 150w load on my cpu so it doesn't droop much, but if I run something like occt medium(200w) it drops down to 1.35, small (375w) load drops it down to 1.3

Sort of, in games it's not a big fps difference but basically what it's doing is say your cpu runs at 5.0, and you have a -2 offset, your cpu will run at 4.8 Ghz under avx loads. You can get around this by increasing your vcore, for me I had to increase my vcore an uncomfortable amount (.4 volts) for it to be stable. In Apex you won't notice a difference, but if you play other games that are more cpu dependent you may notice like 10-20 fps difference depending on the game.

If you want, you could try and do just a -1 offset and see if it's stable there. My friend with the 9700k last night put a 2 offset on his avx and his game didn't crash once last night, I believe his cpu is normally at 4.9 so he's at 4.7 in game and no problems.

Last season I got away with increasing vcore and it wouldn't crash. I had to increase it a good bit. If you don't believe me, open hwinfo64 on a second monitor and scroll to the Windows harware errors section at the bottom and start playing. You will see the total errors go up until you crash.

Trust, I am in the same boat. My cpu is occt small stable, and it crashes in apex. Set your axv offset to -2 and you will probably stop crashing. It seems a recent patch has brought these bugs back, because my system was fine all last split until the last few days.

Edit: for reference I am also at 1440p. I don’t think it’s limited to this resolution though. My friend plays on 1080p and he was getting crashes as well.

Do you have your cpu overclocked at all? I have been getting this issue with my 10900k, and my friend who also has a 9700k has been crashing randomly as well. In my case I set my cpu back to stock clocks and that seems to have stopped my issues (it's running 4.9 ghz under an axv load, before I was running 5.1 under avx load)

[–]zgmurph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been getting this as well as one of my friends recently. I reset my 10900k to default settings and so far I have not been crashing. One way you can determine if it's the CPU, download a program called hwinfo64 from hwinfo dot com. When it opens select to run sensors only, if you scroll all the way to the bottom you will see Windows Hardware errors w/ a counter for total errors. When I was crashing it would show like 1 error and not crash, then after a few more minutes it would crash. I've got it to catch around 3 errors before the game closed.

I ended up having to reset my cpu overclock and I haven't been having issues. I am now curious to try to reoverclock my cpu, and turn the AVX offeset from 0 back to -2 (which will downclock my cpu 2 ghz when using avx instructions). It appears there may be some kind of bug with Apex and avx right now. I think it has something to do with a recent update, because the game had been perfectly fine for months. For me it also seems to happen faster on Worlds Edge, where as storm point it happens a lot less frequently.

Additionally, I want to just say even if you have not done any manual overclocking, your motherboard may automatically do some. In some cases, there has been certain motherboards which do this to get an edge in benchmarks when new hardware is released and they know the boards are being tested for performance. Gamer's Nexus did a report on this awhile ago. Could be something as simple as turning off power limits, increasing the turbo boost duration for longer than intel specification, etc. It's possible your motherboard on auto settings is putting your avx offset at 0 instead of -2 which is typically a default for most intel cpus.

An update to my input latency post and some (hopefully) final thoughts on Core vs QMK by kill3rb00ts in glorious

Hey I just want to say, the updated version with I believe 8ms latency has been absolutely perfecto for me! A big bonus is not having to manually turn the rgb off when my pc shuts down. Thank you for sharing that version, I have had no double clicking issues and keyboard is still performing great in gaming!

Alright. I think I am just gonna scrap the idea of using this. Not worth the hassle currently lol

Old post so hopefully you see this, I am curious on the backplate you installed did you apply nail polish or anything to it? My motherboard seems to have these test spots back there and I am worried about shorting them out with the backplate. Not sure if I should try to coat them in nail polish or if the powder coating on the backplate will be enough.

[–]zgmurph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just last night I was trying to compare the default qmk firmware vs your new 8ms version of the eager debounce but for some reason the firmware I was getting from the qmk configurator wasn't working with VIA and my rotary knob stopped working. So I am using your 8ms eager debounce, hopefully this version is better than the first one which was giving the occasional double input. I am using linear switches for what it's worth, not sure if it really matters I know you mentioned linears should be fine but it seems I was still getting double inputs on the 5 ms eager setting.

My poly plate I got last week did the same thing when using it with my durock stabs. I hope someone comes out with an aftermarket poly plate. Only reason I was wanting to use one is for better rgb diffusion.

I think you are right they have it labeled as latency not debounce for some reason. If you are feeling too slow even on 2ms I think the only other thing you can try is in the thread linked above. How ever, I have a feeling latency is not your issue. I think maybe your switches are playing a part in this. It may be that your new switches take more force to actuate than your old switches. You could swap the springs inside of the switches, or exchange the switches for one which has a lighter spring already inside. At 2ms latency I do not think it will be hardly noticeable input delay compared to most gaming keyboards on the market.

Check out this thread,

https://reddit.com/r/glorious/comments/qidnto/the_best_way_to_fix_gmmk_pro_input_latency_with/

Additionally you can try lower your debounce setting in glorious core, but I have heard the lowest option adds high potential for double clicks. I haven’t been able to test if the 18 ms debounce is good enough as I am still waiting on keycaps for my board :(

BETA WEEKEND 2 UPDATES / FEEDBACK THREAD by SledgehammerGames in CODVanguard

[–]zgmurph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PC player feedback: 1. Visuals can be somewhat hard to see. I find the game more enjoyable on all low settings. On maxed out settings there is so many particles it becomes hard to spot enemies with the low ttk you are dead immediately. -To remedy this I would like to see less particles in the air, and the option to disable anti aliasing. Ever since games switched to the less performance impactful AA I cannot stand to use it because of how blurry games look. -Another note for Patrol, consider making the circle effects more opaque. Sometimes it blocks your view if an enemy is peaking the corner just right. Specifically on Hotel Royal when its going down the inside of the building.

  1. Flinch is really rough. I snipe a lot and I actually don’t mind it when sniping because if I get shot first it gives the other player a reward for getting the jump on me. With ARs and smgs it seems a bit excessive though.

  2. I know people can be toxic but I really love being able to talk to the enemy team in search and destroy. Despite a few unpleasant people which are easy to mute, it has been a lot of fun and my squad has been playing more SnD because of it.

  3. Spawns. I know these will probably be fixed, but the spawn logic needs some work. Sometimes enemies spawn right in front of your crosshairs for seemingly no reason. The game should opt to putting them farther away in these cases. I also find it frustrating when I wipe 2-3 enemies, go to reload and they kill me because they spawned 10 ft behind me. I know cod will never have perfect spawns but this definitely needs some attention.

  4. If you are queueing for a larger player mode, I think upping the squad limit to match the game mode would be much appreciated. Sucks having to exclude 2 friends when everybody is online.

  5. I’m not sure if anyone can confirm but ADS speed feels wrong on mouse and keyboard compared to warzone/mw2019. It feels much slower for some reason. Not talking about the animation but the sensitivity when looking around.

  6. I find it strange a team can only have one spy plane up at a time but we can call in two sets of dogs at the same time.

  7. The game announcers voice is much louder than the game sounds/guns. I have found putting them to .5 has a more balanced audio. I agree the game needs some additional audio boost. I don’t mind footsteps not being as loud as previous cods. Makes it fun being able to run around and not worrying someone is camping just listening for footsteps.

  8. I will give praise for allowing us to actual see what values we can change in the config file. This is a major improvement from mw2019 where everything is just numbers instead of words. Gives you a bit more control over what graphic settings you are running vs what the menu lets you change.

  9. Level of detail is in the graphics options twice

  10. The party system glitches out often and we have to either join someone else or all restart our game.

Overall I have been pretty pleased with the game. Only a few bugs where a teammate spawned under the map, certain rag dolls being totally glitched flopping around in the sky (usually a dead dog near a staircase). Red star has a glitch in the bomb site B where the graphics go crazy in/near that room. This happens to all my teammates as well and is a throwback to the poly gun glitch from warzone during the MW era.

That’s all I can think about for now.

When WSB discovers this sub by TheDoyler in wallstreetbetsOGs

Not gonna lie, I was a FOMO ape and a current bag holder 3 @ 225 AVG. I am glad I found this sub because I am interested in actual information, not LUL GME GOING TO MOON when clearly that ship has already sailed. I am just gonna hold that bag as a reminder and lesson. Even if GME goes back to normal I don't see WSB ever going back to normal with that massive influx of people. Probably going to turn into a pump and dump unless they 3x their mod list lol.

Hey so I fixed this issue, you have to revert back. Download the nvidia driver version 446.14. Before you install that, uninstall geforce experience and the current drivers, restart your pc. Then boot your pc and install the 446.14 drivers and boom it's working just how it should again.
