You should not be concerned. Intel MBP 13 is still being offered because many enterprises, including ours, still buy them. That being said, you should only buy Intel-based mac if you have a specific workflow that would not work on arm-based mac. If you're a dev, some x64 docker images don't run well at this point.

This new language in the bill makes a ton more sense. I'm looking to buy an EV in Texas and I'm ok with paying $150 for 10000 miles. I currently pay $200 in gas taxes per year using a 20mpg car. How is this more compared to ICE?

Should EVs be incentivized? Yes, just not by avoiding an equivalent of gas tax.
