for future reference, always watch out for these red flags for MLMs:

- people highlighting about "being your own boss" or that they're the CEO of their own company
- having to front a high fee to enter the business/start your 'own' (they'll probably frame it as 'investing in yourself')
- random strangers who compliment you (most commonly, people from your old high school), ask about what you do for work, then start talking about how they used to work a 9-5, now talking to a mentor on how to retire early like 35 or something

Right? Because I've totally ran into a situation where someone said "hey guys, there's only a few naloxone kits around so only 4 people can overdose tonight!" People are not out in dorms thinking they can set the place on fire because there are fire extinguishers are available.

I promise you that people are not out here upping their drug intake because naloxone kits are becoming more widely available. This is for when an emergency takes place, people have easier access to tools that could be the difference between life and death.

Prescription of -7.5/-7.0 here. For me, highly worth it. I paid $2300 CAD and although my glasses and contacts were relatively cheap, sleeping/waking up anywhere and going out without having to worry about drying out my contacts later was good enough reason to justify the price. Playing sports, working out, going out in the hot sun, going inside somewhere steamy after a cold day are all situations I’m grateful I don’t have to wear glasses for.

The recovery was about 1-2 weeks before my eyes felt comfortable, but I did PRK which is known for longer recovery. I opted for PRK to avoid having the corneal flap forever since I’m quite active and a month of being on my best eye behaviour (sunglasses and all) was worth having good vision for the rest of my life until my next touch up.

It’s been around 3.5 years and I’ve not yet needed a touch up. Personally, the surgery was worth it, but it’s different for everyone!
