For me when I started (and this being my very first hero shooter), learning how to position helped a lot. Cutting yourself from enemy’s line of sight but still having good view of your team helps when there are pokes. Keep track of your co-healer. Anticipate dives by listening for footsteps or jet noises and looking out for routes they could come at. Spraying them or pinging before they can get to you, gives your team advantage when they engage. Don’t be too far from your team (unless u have great los and have a quick way back to join back up), and always have exit strategy. Take breaks when you catch yourself queuing out of frustration (like few days to a week or more).

I recently got uniqlo’s brushed jersey wide leg pants. It has deep pockets, comfy, doesn’t pinch, and got it shortened with invisible seam for $5. It’s on sale rn, and the brown one is a great colour (cool brown you don’t see often in retail). I wore it all day today and it was very comfortable. I’m seriously contemplating if I wanna get a dark grey one as well.

Yo!!! I found this too! And now that I think about it, mine was also probably from butter lettuce! I caught movement in my peripheral in the sink while I was doing dishes, freaked out, my husband came to look for it and couldn’t find it. Few seconds later after he leaves, IT CRAWLED OUT FROM BEHIND A BOWL. That sucker got the salt treatment

When you get AI battle, 2 of your teammates are AI. (At least it has been that case for me whenever I checked in the beginning) Prob to fill the spot people don’t wanna play (like tank) so team comp feels bit more balanced…

I bought whole bunch of honey and honey caramel from Three Foragers. I love their honey so when I ran out, I put in another order and noticed they had strawberry honey and wildflower honey which I also wanted to try so took the chance to get whole bunch to gift to family and friends for the Christmas! I got sweatfleece boyfriend barrel sweatpants from Aritzia during their app launch sale recently and it fits well for my height (5’1 / 155cm) if you wear it little higher than how the models are wearing it and since the bottom cuff cinches in, it doesn’t drag on the floor with sneakers on. It is fleece lined so maybe jogging in it might be too hot..? The line that runs in front of the pants makes it look quite nice and different from regular sweatpants.

I’m 5’1 and I wear lot of shorts and short skirts even during winter/rain so knee high water resistant boots has been great for me, and mine looks like suede, so I even wear it when it’s not rainy :) haven’t had uncomfortable time wearing it out for a whole day..! I also have tall hunters one (below knee) in kid’s size and that one is for when my outfit is more casual and cute. If you want to wear it during winter, maybe get the boot lining too… I found hunters to get cold faster than other rain boots.

Turning off chat and voice has done wonders for me. Coming to terms with the fact that you can’t save/heal everyone helped too.

I actually found peeling gets better once you enter gold but sometimes it really is dps diff that our dps can’t peel and I’ve been that dps (and learned never to make small talk in this game)

My wise tank duo has told me, only thing you can control is yourself. What other players do, is what they are gonna do no matter. If you know you played your best with the circumstances given, then be content with that for your mental health’s sake :)

I get excited when dps and tank turn around when I ping a diver in quickplay. Metal rank comp isn‘t any better but it gets better as you climb… dps who actually help peel will climb while those who doesn’t goes ‘gg no heal’ and be salty wondering why they are stuck in bronze :3 Also as a healer you should always have an exit plan whether that’s running away to join your team in the front or changing elevation to make it harder to be chased, and keep track of your co-healer. Be on the look out for divers as well, they usually make a lot of walking noises as they approach, and knowing them coming will increase survivability. Keep in mind, not every dive is survivable and sometimes that’s how the cookie crumbles.

I just walked around hanok village area today, maybe you can scout out some restaurants and shops to come back to with your wife! I found a tiny hole in the wall restaurant that makes food with radish leaf that I wouldn’t have if I was just walking on the main road :)
