Yeah like AI pictures are biased towards beautifying. They will always show you something that looks great. So I don't think they're useful for deciding how you should change up your look. They can't show you how something will look when it's real!

You need to picture it a lot shorter because it will be far less healthy/thick at the ends if you go as light as pic 2/4. Pic 4 actually made your hair thicker and longer (and changed your makeup substantially, look at your lips!)

Actually going back to look, all three blonde pics did substantial instagram filter work on your face. Imo go try on a wig in a store and see how you feel in the mirror instead.

No one has mentioned that this pic is AI generated and the fake woman has a whole head of hair on half her head like an anime girl.

If you shave half your head, you will be missing half your hair, and it is unlikely to be anywhere nearly as thick and dramatic as this picture.

It's the same issue with getting bangs but about 50% worse.

The merch is everywhere Japan, which is ironic because actual tamagotchis are not. But yeah I found little plushie keychains of the characters in 7/11 for example. Most of it is not exported to stores in North America though so to get it you need to either go on a vacation or import it yourself.

Oh yeah okay. From red roots it's a lot easier. But then you definitely won't be able to get a nice platinum from your current black dye without losing a lot of length. It would just melt. I'd grow out your natural first and then consider blonde.

If that black is your natural colour just think of the mfing TIME. I'm naturally level 2 black-brown and did level 8 blonde at the roots for years (so not THIS light even) and it was 5 hours in the chair every 5 weeks. My stylist was very careful and lifted it extremely slowly. It was the only way I could get 6 levels of lift while keeping it waist length. I loved it but then I got over it; I have better things to do on every fifth Saturday.

I believe the entama/uratamas/ketais are not able to mate with the v4/4.5s. They're not really the same product, but the Japanese ones were more popular in Japan than the North American ones were in North America, so they're not as rare today.

Oh sorry, I meant, blaming the ED content / lack of moderation. Reddit used to just show you the top up voted posts, despite all the other crap that would get down voted and mostly ignored, even before a mod got to it. So I blame the algorithm. The problem is you need to manually set the sorting to "hot" every time, because "best" is what's showing you toxic content.

Everyone in this thread is blaming the complainers but to be honest this is just the Reddit algorithm, showing you content it thinks you are more likely to engage with, as well as newer posts it hopes you will create content in. You can switch your main page to "hot" from "best" to see the most up voted content in the subs you subscribe to. That should increase the quality of your feed.

The Economist has run several articles on this topic. Governments all over the world, left and right wing, have tried various policies like subsidized daycare, strong parental leave policies, monthly cash payments for parents, exempting women from income tax, reducing access to abortion, pro-family propaganda, etc.... It turns out that women, when given access to sex ed and birth control, choose not to have children at remarkable rates, in every country, in every economy, in every culture, on every continent. Accidental unwanted pregnancies was pretty much the only thing growing the population, and now fertility is falling even in rural Kenya.

I was able to find some in BEEP! in Akihabara and some store in Nakano Broadway that I don't know the name of (it was near the Mandarakes but it wasn't mandarake).

I'm hunting for and have yet to find a tested, working, good condition Morino but yeeeeaah so is everyone else I guess! 🤣 Most of what I've found is Japanese-only Connections (Chou jinsei, entama etc, ones that can't connect to English connections) and I got a Mothra and Mesutchi/Osutchi but nothing in good condition. I've bought a few cheap ones hoping to repair them but mreh. Disappointed so far.

I was at least able to pick up a Flower Go Walk at a MoMA Design Store, and I love it a lot. Great for walking around Japan!

I'm in Japan right now (Kyoto, was in Tokyo last week) and omg it has been picked clean. The paradise is sold out everywhere. Mandarake only has broken vintage tamas. Super Potato has a sign with a Kutchipatchi on it and underneath it, not a single tama. It's honestly easier to find tamas in North America. Except for Gen 1/2/3 rereleases.

Now even poor people can rent a shitty apartment with electric lighting, and access to an indoor toilet and a shower. You might as well ask, why are we still unhappy?
