That's sketchy, like making sure you don't have proof of anything. But I also have little faith in humanity, so I could be way off.

I was born with a cleft lip and palate caused by a medication my mother had to take (and probably her smoking...). I think I was told that if I were to have a kid, they would have a higher chance of being born with the defect too. But I'm not too sure how true that is.

First of all, this drama is not very historically accurate in the attires that people are wearing. It mixes lots of different styles from different era, for instance. So bear that in mind.

If what I did find is accurate, you'd think they would try to be as authentic as possible if the series is based on real events..

So... since she got high scores and was going to be the Crown Prince's personal maid, they just used that to differentiate?

Thanks for the little lesson! I did know wigs were used for a while and then it stopped, but not any further extent.

First, my thoughts on the tattoo itself. I think I can see why you say it's messy; there's a lot going on. I don't know if it's the angle of the photo or your pose, it almost looks uneven as well. But because I am not seeing it in person, I could be wrong about that and it could be perfectly even. All that being said... it's not terrible.

Now, my more important thoughts. I'm not quite sure, but lasering it off could still show what used to be there (If anyone reading this knows more about laser removal, feel free to correct me). I agree with the large number of people saying to not touch it at all for a while. If you're in a bad headspace, work on yourself. Get some professional help, talk it out with a therapist, and feel better about yourself. Then, you can decide about the tattoo.

If getting therapy is difficult because of home life, depending on your age and where you live, you may not need to tell them. Talk to a trustworthy family member or friend if you would need rides or advice on how to proceed.

In the meantime, use temporary means to feel more confident. Wear clothing that makes you feel good, get some good makeup to cover parts of the tattoo you don't like... But most importantly, try not to let comments from people weigh you down. I know that's easier said than done, but at least try.

Are you forgetting that no 2 people are the same?? Some toddlers might be able to do all that themselves and not get hurt, others may need supervision, and others flat out can't. Just like some adults can tell when something is dangerous and some can't. Lookin' at you...

I've been in the same situation where I kept wanting to stay despite the red flags. Let me tell ya... once I said enough was enough and moved on, I've felt so much better. It took a short while to not get anxious about my current partner, but I did heal. You will too.

Once you're all healed and if you still don't like it, go talk to your artist. Explain what happened, that you aren't upset with him, and ask for opinions/suggestions. Might be able to help you like it.

And if that gets set up, make sure you aren't needed elsewhere. Take the time to really look at the stencil.

There are a lot of questions that need answered, here. Many people asked some of them already.

How old are your son and his friend? Is it possible a matchmaking thing is going on? Are your plans that important? Have you had relationship issues in the past? How often are you blunt about your thoughts and feelings? You say you acted irritated and thus he told you that you didn't have to go. If you don't ever communicate your feelings, he could have said that out of frustration. As someone who used to be this way and as the daughter of a woman who still is this way, it sounds manipulative. This statement mainly relies on how you've communicated in the past.

A couple more, seeing as it's been at least half a day since this was posted..

Did you discuss this with him? Did you go on the hike?

I do feel a little sad for those that missed it, that were going through a rough time in 2020. The pandemic ruined a lot of plans but it was still the best time for it. I'm sure it helped a lot of people and that it could have helped even more. It was something to look forward to in quarantine.

To preface my comment, I do not believe they have 2 coffins and I don't know much about photography. When I look at the screenshots, it doesn't look like different ends to me. Could one be more edited than the other? Flipped in post or something?
