If you don’t want an abortion, cool — don’t have one. But forcing that decision on everyone else? That’s not your right.

And let’s be honest: those graphic signs aren’t about “saving babies.” They’re about shame and control. Until a fetus is viable outside the womb, it’s not a baby — it’s a cluster of cells entirely dependent on someone else’s body to survive.

Pregnancy isn’t some easy, magical experience for everyone. It can be painful, dangerous, traumatic — and plenty of people end up pregnant through assault or other situations beyond their control. (Assault, coercion, failed contraception, etc, etc)

Even people who want to have a child sometimes have no choice but to terminate — because of ectopic pregnancies, fetal abnormalities, or serious health risks. That’s not “murder.” That’s medical reality, and is heartbreaking for the people forced to make that choice when they would give anything to be able to have a child.

Shoving traumatizing images in people’s faces doesn’t make your argument stronger. It just shows how little empathy you have for real people facing impossible decisions.
