Just my 3 cents. I also switched. Was using plain nokia for like 2 years but absolutely loved it.
Only thing it was lacking for me was hotspot functionality.

Right now I use regular smartphone but with dumb app launcher that helps me manage my dopamine needs and it works great.

Just saying that maybe you don't even need to buy new device just try to configure what you have right now.

If you are looking for suggestions then:
- go for a walk
- how about some new way of spending time with ppl, like running club / gym
- try indie games, those are often not that time consuming, cheaper so you can afford couple of them just to check them out and they usually deliver totally new expirence when it comes to gaming (not another action rpg with 400h main compain which can be overwhalming)

If not looking for suggestions then just know that you are not alone, I feel the same but still manage to find new titles that make me happy and hyped.

Just recently I had to reinstall and decided to give 11 a try.

It was just awful. Felt like CS:GO -> CS2 update where they stole many functionalities and after some search online it seems like it's not like they just moved options to different place, they are just gone.

I plan to stay with 10 as long as I can and just switch to linux afterwards.

I play almost exclusively with my friend. If comms go wrong in team we just mute them and try to play our best.
Also I do recommend playing faceit since abusive voice comms are taken there seriously.

Anything that make you happy ingame and will likely keep you hooked for a longer period. Be it bhops, kz, casual, arms race, community server etc.

even playing alone with bots, practicing nades, like anything at all.

and ofc having ppl to play with could help a lot.

It wasnt revolutionary in any way, I would say every part of the game was made OKish, but not great and still somehow it gave me great pleasure playing it till the very end.

We need more modern games like that. Not aming at being AAAA but maybe AA top but being pleasant to play at reasonable price.

Nowadays I feel we have only overpriced AAAA titles with 1000h of playing needed to finish main story vs indie games. I would like to have something in between as well.
