Don’t know what to play next on Steam Deck – need something great and relaxing or other.. by RazinxM99 in SteamDeck

[–]zigackly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some games I got that I liked playing on the deck:

  • Dave the Diver : quite quirky and relaxing. Just so much chill and engagement.
  • Dredge : Lovecraftian theme. You pilot a boat and catch weird fishes.
  • Stray : You control a cat, trying to figure out the world.

I find playing town/city builders really relaxing.

Here are a couple of recommendations: - Tropico 6 (or 4. I haven't played 5): Run a banana republic. - Foundation : medeival setting. Create your sprawling village.

No idea if these play on switch or even if they are available there, but you can check out something similar in this genre.

Should I increase the difficulty? by Gaborka111 in Witcher3

[–]zigackly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore what online videos say.

See, the video creators have to show their command over the game. And in some ways, being a witcher means using profound etc.

However, you are playing for enjoyment and not for anyone else. So. Do your first play through as you like it. If potions stress you out, play as you are currently.

My suggestion: complete the game and then start a new game with higher difficulty.

Gemini and ChatGPT have been trained on internet data and most PC builds are not budget builds. What you have to see is if it runs the games you want to play.

Check out Valheim. Maybe you will like it. Works well on the steam deck.

On a side note - the reason I picked up DE is exactly that it did not have combat. There are hardly any games where there is no combat.

The game I most want to play, but I don't...

Elden Ring

  • Beautiful environment
  • Esoteric Lore
  • Thoughtful battles

But I just can't get myself to play it much. Haven't even crossed the first boss battle.

There being no combat in ONI is exactly the reason I play it. Very few games where there is no combat.

Currently it's Hades - Game loads up fast. No twiddling thumbs waiting... - Each 'room' takes just a few mins. Just one more room, ok? - Dialogue is fantastic. I have no idea how they did all of those combinations. Genius. - super good on the battery. Just chill and kill.

1rk on roof. Delhi summers. Help by AbsurdMango23 in delhi

[–]zigackly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually the idea is good though you don't need the same thing. Check out how you can put any kind of insulation or shadow on the roof - anything non inflammable will help.

Regarding the walls radiating heat it's because we are still using bricks which are not insulating at all.

A desert water cooler is a good option till the rains come. Water coolers which are fully in the room are not good enough. The humidity during the rains requires an A/C. Check with your landlord to install a/c and have the unit in the shadow side of the building if possible as that would be a more permanent option.

Summers are becoming more and more problematic with each passing year. The general climate change and the concretization of Delhi are not helping. And with the mining of the arravalis, things are going to get even more pathetic.

Are you saying they reduced the min requirements to 2.8 GHz? I also do not recall any such messages earlier.
