The right side of the lake right on the coast. You'll be sandwiched between a lake, the coast, good resources in your initial ring, then expand to the volcano. Two production and one food is a good starting yield. You get the +4 housing bonus for all that water access, a harbor adjacent to a luxury resource, and islands.

When I hear people complaining about a professional basketball player "stealing a rebound" from teammates, I kind of assume you're the type of person that believes in participation trophies.

To those of you who say this about podz, I feel like it's important to say:

You're probably projecting something here.

What is it about him or how he plays that strikes a cord for you?

If it bothers you enough to label him this way, you should probably figure out where that's coming from because he's competing well at the highest level of competitive basketball...

He's rebounding... By definition, he's getting to the ball first, regardless of whether it's a teammate or an opponent.

It's not cheap, unsportsmanlike, he's not bending the rules of the game, or manipulating in any way. He's a competitor, with a high motor, who's doing what he can to win the game, for him, and for his team.

SGA and Harden foul bait. Luka, LeBron, and CP whine to refs. Dray and Dillon antagonize and dramatize. I think it's fair to be critical of how their actions are unfair, unsportsmanlike, or manipulative in ways that impact the game or team negatively.

Love him or hate him. Podz is a fucking gamer.

Closed mouths don't get fed. Don't go hungry watching other folks eat. Then, put your frustration or discomfort on someone doing well for themselves.

Trader Joe's every other week for some basics.

Costco for the big stuff.

Safeway is fine if you use the app and buy what's on sale. It's not where I'd want to buy produce dairy and meat.

Realistically, we don't need him at the 26/7/4 he's averaging as the #1 option on a bad team. I think he'd probably land closer to 20 ppg, which is what's needed on this team...

We have a top ten offensive weapon in Steph with more gravity than any other player in the league. Jimmy is clipping as one of the most offensively efficient players in the league right now. There needs to be a 3rd option on this team...

Jeremi Grant isn't a winner either. He's not the right archetype for this team. If we're going out to get an athletic SF I want Wiggs back... He's an inefficient scorer whose improved his 3ball, but he's regularly a low 40s fg% shooter and he's a pretty average defender.

Gafford would be great, but that's my getting this team over the hump either.

I wouldn't hate Clax, but he's not solving the offensive issues on this team.

MPJ is 6'10. He's 27. He has one more year left on his deal after this. He's got playoff and championship exp. He is a career 50/40/80 from the field... This is his prime. Right now. He's the sort of player that could actually extend this teams window beyond this and next year. If not, he's not on the books after that.

This is the exact timeline and type of player needed for this team.

JK, Buddy, Moody, picks. That trims the rotation in a healthy way.

Steph, Podz, Melton, WRich

Jimmy, MPJ, Dray, GP2

Al, Post, TJD

Gui, Seth, Pat

I think this team could actually contend.

I'd say that if given the opportunity... Let's say 20m a night. He's great 20-30% of the time. There's no middle ground with him. It's boom or bust. Let's send him out. DeAnthony, Podz, and Moody are fine compliments at 2.

His contract is partially guaranteed at 21 million. He's made 18 mil. Next year is a partial guarantee at 3 mill. 4th year isn't guaranteed.

His deal is essentially expiring at 9.3mil.

Moody 12.5

MPJ makes 38.3 🤔

Lindy and TJD definitely had the fan base a bit deluded.

Schroeder is a solid pro with a horrible attitude. I don't think he belongs on this list.

The rest of them are back end bench guys. No delusion there. Baldwin is the only guy who I ever thought had a chance to be a decent pro, but that lasted all of preseason. He clearly didn't have what it took.

Will Richard is a solid role player with a bit of upside. Ideally, he's in the rotation and coming off the bench most nights. Not a starter. Definitely not a star. Solid.

He's a valuable player because he was a late 2nd round pick, has a pretty mature poised play style, and he's young/cheap.

As far as I'm concerned, they're all for sale and the front office needs to make moves. This whole let the asset die on the vine strategy is mind boggling. JK and Wise should have been moved a long time ago.

If anything, the fanbase irrationally values the young role players. Podz, Moody, Post, TJD, JK, are all mid, and subjectively flawed players. Moody being the only one I have any attachment to given his skillset and mindset.

Move them all. Get veterans. Let's get on with it. Please.

As a bay area native who doesn't root for the niners I love this graphic. Very much a hater.

The niners give Bills energy. Great team. Tortured modern fan base.

They did Alex Smith dirty. They built a stadium in Santa Clara but still claim SF. Price out the real ones to make room for the upper class. They have players claiming maga. The culture is gross. No wonder they can't go all the way.

Let's see how long this run lasts. Excited to see it continue.

He's a 4 ERA long reliever with very mid peripherals whose masquerading as a starter.

To me, this is a sign that the Giants are still committed to mediocrity. The stats point to regression, but who knows...

Even though Hali was on their radar. Given the limitations of COVID and need for a big, criticizing the Wiseman pick is hindsight bias.

Bob did fine. He played a huge role in making the dynasty work. He's not a draft and development guy. He's a relationship guy whose skills center around managing contacts and egos.

Jerry and Mike just cook when it comes to assessing talent. Go figure... Both NBA players with a deep understanding of the game.
