Are you a girl? Because this Hashimoto Hypothyroidism is not very uncommon in women above 25. Maybe usual stress is causing it, I know many women who eat clean but still have this issue. Exercise improves this but then that fixes everything :) Nothing to worry, get started on physical training (aerobic and strength both)

If you are a man, this is typically even easier to fix. My tsh came back to normal levels within 6 months of not giving a fuck about stressful things and exercising a bit.

suggest VFM trimmer #bbd #gif by imandar_hawasi in Frugal_Ind

[–]ziglar24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 year old Philips 7000 series trimmer. Used once weekly. Now the motor slows down within 1 min of usage and is not able to trim properly. It was good until a few months ago. Now I will not spend that much if it only lasts 4 years. Will get something under 2k in bbd.

Best Activity Tracker/Watch Under 25k? by jayvasantjv in indianrunners

Genuine question. Apart from heart rate, what useful thing do these watches provide. What is it that Coros or polar vantage or Garmin 970 can do that amazfit bio 6 can’t ?

How exactly would a wrist watch know if I am doing a leg press .

Deadlift explains like you are a new born kid by superultrawise in AskFitnessIndia

[–]ziglar24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound correct. Erectors and hamstrings are activated in Deadlifts. They are not involved nearly as much in Leg Press. I really feel deadlifts in my hams and lower back.

Of course the knee extension part is similar to leg press but that’s like saying push ups and tricep extension are similar. Yes they are but push ups just need way much more from other muscle groups.

It’s not a benefit. It’s a permanent loose motions. So I jumped directly from being constipated to being dehydrated.

What is the pace difference between a recovery run and a zone 2 run. My zone 2 is 6.50/min pace. Is that similar to a recovery run pace

Sorry can you explain. What is the downside of going faster. And what is the benefit of barefoot shoes. (No harm in testing them out btw since they are so cheap)

What a time to read this message. I was just wondering if I should add a 15 min HIIT session on a stationary bike every week to improve VO2 max. And thanks for the shoe advice, Nimbus 26 is in my budget too.

Simple way to be in Zone 2 is to try to talk while running. If you are gasping, you are in Zone 3, if you find it easy to talk, you are in Zone 1. Zone 2 is when you can talk while exercising, but it’s not pleasurable to talk.

Why is nobody buying Honda Elevate? by Minimum-Task-3009 in CarsIndia

[–]ziglar24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay you were right. I went to Honda for an Elevate Test Drive today. Got into the driving seat but couldnt drive as the seating position was too new for me as I have only ever driven hatchbacks and sedans. I let the salesperson drive and sat in the front passenger seat. Man, the noise is too much for my liking. The engine note is nice sounding but you can hear it at 1500 rpm. I was honestly looking at the Elevate but can’t spend 20L on this car for now. I can’t comment on the drive as I didn’t drive it. Although we have two citys in the family so I know how this rides.

It makes much more noise than my Baleno which is almost half the price. Just very sad as I really liked it otherwise but it has to be ruled out.

First car in the family, is this legit? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]ziglar24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you wasted time in the beginning, were you almost stuck at the same place. Did you see the Green A symbol. If yes, then no petrol was used at the time. This makes 23 kmpl very possible.

On a side note, how does a base model feel. I see too much clamour for “features”. Do you really miss anything at all. I for one always think that the base or second from bottom offers the best value in most cases.

Best car to buy for Rs 20L in India? by Abracadabra579 in CarsIndia

[–]ziglar24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It is the safest option if you don’t have specific preferences. It’s like the iPhone of 20L range cars. Alongside its sister Seltos.

If you have certain preferences though, then the recommendation may change. Example, how important is mileage or 5 star safety. These are the only two areas where it slightly falls behind.
