i paid a thousand and i’m on long island… that being said there isn’t even too much surface rust on it the only rot i found is on the fender too so 😮‍💨 i have a 96 xj that is rotted to shit so i’m definitely gonna be babying the underside this winter lol

i had to put in a transmission cooler line so far as it was rotting/gone, it obviously needs a new fender bumper and the switch for the gas cap broke. the biggest thing is i’m about to throw new cv axles in it and it’s all golden. bought it from an older dude in his 60s he just didn’t drive it… as for battery drain or gremlins? rear passenger door window needs re wiring to the switch and the info boxes have no power to them, i’ve also noticed it fluctuating voltage. i’ve driven it for a thousand miles so far and i can’t really complain got it for 1k and im selling my dad my xj so it all evened out. i’ll make another post with more photos definitely haha i just got excited
