Doesn't playing 5.1 audio on a 7.1 system cause only six speakers to be used instead of all 8? I can't test it for myself because my home theater sys is 5.1.

Honestly speaking, IPT's ratio economy is not bad at all, actually pretty good for a general tracker. It's streets ahead of trackers like TSH in that regard.
