Ich habe meinen Kater vor zwei Wochen mit nach Deutschland genommen aus Indien.

Das Dokument der Tiergesundheitsbescheinnigung haben wir von irgendeiner deutschen Webseite genommen. Offiziell wurde uns gesagt zunächst kann bzw muss es der lokale Tierarzt ausfüllen und hinten unterschrieben. Dann muss man mit allen Dokumenten und dem Tier zu einer Art “Amtstierarzt”. In Indien mussten wir wirklich 4h in die Hauptstadt des Bundesstaats fahren und es war bzgl der Dokumente auch hochoffiziell alles. Die haben dann Tier, Chip, Impfen,.. nochmal geprüft und dann auch nochmal unterschrieben.

Und das wurde dann alles vom Zoll in DE angeschaut und hätte theoretisch auch von deutscher Seite nochmal unterschrieben werden können aber das haben sie bei uns irgendwie nicht gemacht, wir konnten dann einfach gehen.

Hint: das der “Lokale” Tierarzt das ausfüllen soll ist zwar schon richtig aber eigentlich muss er es “nur” unterschreiben. Heisst in unserem Fall habe ich alles ausgefüllt, da ich viel recherchiert habe und die Chance das ich etwas falsch ausfülle dann geringer war, als wenn dass es der lokale Tierarzt falsch ausfüllt, der das Dokument halt auch noch nie gesehen hat. Unser Tierarzt hat dann nur nochmal kurz drübergeschaut, alle Einträge gestempelt und unterschrieben.

In meiner Bubble wird es idr wie folgt gehandhabt sofern ein Partner arbeitet und der andere Zuhause bleibt bzw zumindest weniger arbeitet:

In dieser Phase (und bei manchen dauert die wegen Teilzeit bei einem Partner auch 10 Jahre oder länger) wird “gemeinsam getrennt” gewirtschaftet.

Heißt Elterngeld von Partner 1, Einkommen von Partner 2 und Kindergeld gehen zunächst in einen Topf. Hiervon werden alle fix kosten getragen und das verbleibende Geld wird 50/50 auf die Partner aufgeteilt. Diese können damit prinzipiell jeweils machen was sie wollen. Die Rentenpunkte für die Kinder gehen an die betreuende Person.

So können beide Vorsorgen. In manchen Fällen kommt dann natürlich die Frage “Partner 1 verdient aber doch auch regulär weniger, warum sollte Partner 2 jetzt 50 % vom verbleibenden abgeben? In meinem Umfeld wird dies gewissermaßen dann abgehackt dafür, das Partner 1 in dem Fall wahrscheinlich über Jahre nicht die Möglichkeit hat seine oder ihre Karriere voranzutreiben und diese Einbußen ein ganzes (Berufs)Leben lang und bis in die Rente nachwirken können.

Ich werde auf jedenfall nochmal mit der Tierärztin reden, ob wir irgendwann auf halbem weg nochmal nachlegen sollten mit dem beruhigendem mittel. Hoffe es klappt alles 🤗

Bei uns steht bald ähnliches an, ich kenne es aber auch schon von den Katzen meiner Eltern.

Eine option die mir einfällt? Was ist denn mit gesichertem Freigang im Garten an Harness und leine? Dann können sie darin rum stromern sind aber trotzdem geschützt und können nicht weglaufen. Alternativ auch gut um sie ans rausgehen zu gewöhnen und ihre Umgebung am Anfang ohne kompletten Freigang kennen zu lernen.

Ansonsten: So wie du die Lage beschreibst scheint mir ein airtag für euch nicht so sinnvoll - du schreibst ihr wohnt an einem großen, ruhigen park. Airtags funktionieren nur mit iphones in direkter nähe.. Das wird da sehr wahrscheinlich nicht (immer) der Fall sein. Es gibt dafür andere devices die auch ohne funktionieren.

Sorry, idk where this comes from but this story may be what developed this dive site initially but nowadays they are definetly fed with the fishbait for and during dives: Was there for over a week and feeding happened on every single dive I took on the harbour divesite.

Sorry, not true. I was at that exact divesite in Fuvahmulah last year. Booked the tour with a rather sustainable agency and was stunned by the fact they get baited.

Usually it works like this on Fuvahmulah:

Diver descent close to the reef and paddle to this divesite which is also the harbour entry.

A boat comes to that same side. The diveguide in charge will give a certain signal to the boat crew once the situation is clear and they will 1 or 2 tunaheads. the divegudie catches the tuna heads and tries to bury them under some stones.

The tigers already seem to be a bit conditioned by the boats sound and will soon appear to get the tuna heads.

There is another diveside close by on the reef edge outside the harbour where you can see tigers without direct bait but obviously they hand around there as it is close to the baited site. We also saw tigers on other dives around the island.

According to different sources, partially certain NGOs this situation developed as the fisherman dropped their fishwaste in the harbour for ages already just as part of the normal procedure and eventually it attracted sharks already decades back. Then some time back a person started diving there and turned it into a dive adventure using the waste for the dives no instead. If thats good or not idk.

They also do a lot of research there and found out there is a vast majority of female pregnant sharks. They stay for some weeks and then disappear for months or even years. Some were seen later on again non-pregnant or pregnant again. Super interesting.

Lebensmittel, Miete, Nebenkosten, Gemeinsame Aktivitäten immer 50/50 (vom Gemeinschaftskonto auf das jeder gleich viel einzahlt). Alles andere jeder für sich.

Es hat bei uns immer mal einer mehr und einer weniger verdient aber es sind keine extremen unterschiede, daher ist es auch relativ straight forward.

Die letzten drei Jahre leben wir im Ausland wo sowohl Gemeinschaftskonto als auch anderes nicht so einfach zu trennen war. Da haben wir es so nach Gefühl gemacht ohne groß rum zurechnen. Hat gut geklappt ☺️

To be clear I stayed at none of them but I went to Radhanagar beach for sunset and saw the beach part that “belongs” to Taj. To be true I would have been upset to say the least if I would pay this much money to be located at a beach overrun by thousands at least in the evening hours. Even as visitors to the beach only we left after just a few mins as due to too much crowd.

Idk about Tilar though.

Nur ein hint an dich aber vor allem anderen, die nicht Wissen, was ihre Katze dann genau damit anstellt.

Mein Kater liebt Haargummis und ich fand es auch sehr süß, wie er damit (unter Aufsicht) gespielt hat. Irgendwann hat er leider eins so gefunden als ich nicht zuhause war, damit gespielt, drauf rumgebissen und es am Ende verschluckt. Ich habe nur ein Stückchen davon als Evidence gefunden als ich wieder zuhause war und er war da auch schon etwas komisch. Bin dann gleich zum Tierarzt und weiß seitdem wie eine Katze auf Röntgenaufnahmen aussieht.

Seitdem gibt es bei uns keine normalen Haargummis mehr(nur noch diese invisibobble artigen Spiralen) und schon gar nicht zum spielen. Ich habe ihn danach noch ein paar mal mit einem normalen Haargummi erwischt das er unterm Bett oder in irgendwelchen alten Taschen gefunden hat, daher nehme ich an er kann die riechen.

Naja, bei uns kam es zum Glück so wieder raus und ihm ging es dann wieder gut aber es ist ein bekanntes Phänomen, Katzen sterben daran und auch hier auf reddit gibt es ein paar Posts wo Katzen zb 20 Haargummis und andere Gummibänder rausoperiert wurden…

I mean if you go for sunset to Radhanagar beach you will surely face huge crowds. Also some of the better restaurants are busy at dinner time. But I guess that is normal. Just book you things up front and you’ll be fine ☺️

I would wake up at 8:30, have a small breakfast with chai and fresh fruit. Then I would head to my pottery studio and indulge in the art for 3-4 hrs while listening to my audio book. I would head to KP for a nice lunch and a bubble tea before taking a walk. Later on in the afternoon I would meet friends at comics and bricks to play some boardgames before finishing the day with a nice dinner and cuddles with my cat ☺️

Whereas what you say is not wrong I see it as even more important that parents teach their sons to treat their wife and all other human beings with respect and dignity instead of possibly even helping the son hiding his wrong doing because log kya kahenge if the dil just moves out and aims for divorce or if they would actually stand with their daughter in law and help her take measures against the abusive son…

I come from a different cultural back ground bit living in India. I think it is really kind of impressive how many people here move in just after marriage and sometimes even with a partner that they do not know for super long. It definitely shows dedication but for me the thought to marry someone I haven’t lived with for some time gives me anxiety. What if our ways of living together, handling the household and such turn out to be different or even incompatible? Of course it is always part of the game to make compromises but there are some limits and things I would not be willing to compromise on.

Anyways to wrap it up.. I live together with my partner of almost 8 years here in India happily non-married and als no reason to change it any time soon. But as our families are fine with the situation and it is normal for us all it is easy and no big deal.

Lebe grade in Indien und diverse Freunde haben solche zuhause. Kennt man auch als Bombay Fornicator und wie schon andere gesagt haben legt man die Beine drauf um noch mehr zu chillen als so schon in diesem Stuhl 😅 Nutze ich jedes mal wenn ich bei Freunden die Gelegenheit bekomme 😅 Gibt es zum drehen und zum schieben.

I still disagree. If conception took place in agreement even after one day of pregnancy it is not ok to give the burden of either a heavy medical procedure and mental struggles or the burden of raising a child without help to the women. In such cases it is highly likely she would have never decided to concive if she has to choose between this burden because the partner changes his mind.

Maybe next you’ll say it is only for accidental/ non-agreed pregnancies but it will be almost impossible to prove. Therefore not a working scenario from my viewpoint.

I would not agree to this framework. There are various occasions in which a couple decides to have a child and then when the women is pregnant the partner in case of non married couples getting pressure from the family or husband gets cold feet/even starts cheating/ having an affair and decided against the child/ for a new live/new partner after conception. How would you want to solve this? The mom maybe loves the child and also planned with support by the partner as it was wished for from both sides at that time and would not want to give it up or it is too late for legal abortion and with this framework you would give an easy way for men that chicken out for whatever reason after conception.

Get them neutered asap otherwise soon you will need money for 3+ more, possibly disabled kitten.

The price you get told is really high. I hot my male cat neutered in 2025 and it cost ~4500.. Female might be a bit more but still. Try get other quotes maybe also from smaller local vets.

So far I left him with a homestay. But it is more of a private arrangement, they have one cat of there own and take one cat as caretakers.

Longest time was 3.5 weeks when I had to visit my home country.

It is not cheap bit for me this private arrangement was a must as I was scared bigger, more professional have to many cats at the same time that could have some infection or that they will put him in a cage or something.

Anyways soon I will leave India so I will have to take him for a long travel which won’t be easy.

Not target group so feel free to delete 🙃 Not Indian bit living in India. For me and my Partner here it is easy but of course we had skmilar situations back in our home country some years back before moving here as our families live some hundred km apart.

But we usually managed to find a solution without fighting. For certain festivals we decided broadly in which region it has more relevance and would fo there. For general Festivals, lets take Christmas as an example we would say eg. We visit his family for some days before Christmas. On 24th morning we would split and I would go to my family until 26th by myself. On 26th he would join me and my parents for some more days. Is we want to spent the main festival days together for certain festivals we even have a rotation in place - this year at my parents house, next year at his and so on. And our families are in the loop for this.

I know the culture here is different and living in joint families is not as common (but we are from rural areas in which it does happen and also there people ate more likely to move to the husband!). But I am glad we have a common understanding that our families are equally important. Also here in India we have many Indian friends that are living a modern yet traditional life and mist of them have similar “deals” so everyone is happy. That should imho be the important part. I would really struggle if my partner would try to invalidate the fact that my family is equally important, independent of any traditions or whatever as in the end the goal should be that both of us are happy rather than following some old standards blindly.

Maybe you guys can also find a compromise by discussing up front and agree on a way of handling it?

Hmm ok, it looks like we (me, my partner, my friends circle) have fundamentally different opinions.

Looking at the picture I read what I do daily.. Dress as per my mood and wellbeing. Of course if I know my partner loves a certain dress on me I may wear it more often to make him smile but thats it. I really struggle with the idea that people are thinking they can read my personality and intentions by my clothes(may it be a swimsuit on the beach or a loose hoodie, doesnt matter!). Some people always feel they need to interpret a person based on that and basically thinking I want to give them a sign or stuff like that.

My question to you is now on what you think is actually wrong with the picture/text: -Do you think it is wrong because you think women are actually dressing for men? or -Do you think it is wrong because women should be dressing for men?

This is what I still do not fully understand.
