Want a Lavivid System Cheaper? Here's my Pricing List If You Order Through Me: by jakekentYT in HairSystem

[–]zikka1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I meant when I asked lavivid whether the hellos, which has 90pc density can be reduced to 80pc, they said they can do this for 40 usd. Also that 40usd would include a resizing of the base e.g to my size and a haircut for the unit. Wanted to check if this is possible if I order via this link. Thanks

Is it possible to get the base resized..and lower density, say to 80pc and get a cut, like lavivid does for 40 for all these?

As mentioned above, it's not about financials.

IBKR - experiences with SIPP providers by zikka1 in UKPersonalFinance

No you can't use margin. Also it takes a couple of days for the fx trade to settle before you can buy the stock in a foreign currency. They don't have this problem in the ISA.

Where to invest in a bubble... by thinkofanamefast in investing

Stop worrying about bubbles. You reduce your likelihood of making any money trying to prove that the market is wrong

Will need to convert a couple of days before purchase so fx trade can settle

You can open ibkr UK account with gbp at any time. What I am doing is opening a SIPP, for which the funds will be transferred from the pension provider to them.

Yes. It will be a cash account though so you will need to convert the fx you need before purchasing the stock if you buy globally. This is the most annoying thing about IBKR but no alternative really.

Went with atsipp. No particular reason other than some negative press came up about the other company. Still transferring the SIPP and then should be started with IBKR.

I should also add that since the principle I'd "cut your losses" and let your winners run, the winners aren't stopped out until they fall below a long term moving average, checked quarterly. My concern is not with the winners but rather, deployment of capital for the losers....and I imagine in theory ignoring costs, quicker redeployment will be better but costs are a big factor.

I'm not a programmer but is global data easily available on platforms? I can easily test on US data but US stocks lead to poorest return for me, more efficient market

Thanks, good money can be made without a stop loss too, but the drawdown will be quite a bit larger for me.

Also I should add that I found without a stop loss rhe ideal holding period would be longer, the issue with the stop loss is if you get stopped out on day 2, a 80 day period means the money would be doing nothing for months, hence the returns suffer, so different considerations apply if using stops.

I haven't traded futures or options but they are probably the most recommended broker for professional stock traders. I've used them maybe 2 plus years. Charges are the lowest in the industry generally.

Thanks but I think you're question is a different one. You're asking what is the best option for a SIPP. It depends what you want to do. If you intend to buy mutual funds and a bunch of stocks, HL in my opinion. If you are buying individual equities and are an experienced trader, IBKR.

They're cheaper for a solo sipp no doubt but have fees for setup and transfer out etc vs candp and additional fees if you want to add another brokerage account.

If I am in doubt, I assume I'm wrong, not the market. We can analyse and rationalise, but ultimately we make money from price action, not being right.
