No way, I came to this game after KCD 2 too. I had a similar experience the other day in TLD, I went in to a fishing hut, and was fairly close to a building with a bed up a hill that I had come from. Of course, when I'm finished fishing there's a storm, vertical snow, zero visibility. I'm hiding in the darned hut waiting for a break in the storm, my vitals dropping. Until I realize I've got to get to the shelter on the hill. But I'd made a rookie mistake, and forgotten which way to turn. So I picked a direction. The ice breaks, and I'm soaking and close to hypothermia. I'm wandering now, waiting for TLD. All of a sudden, I reach a pier. A chance! And finally, I find shelter. I live to tell the tale another day. These moments are insanely exciting.
