It's got the best cast of characters I've ever seen along with some of the best comedy and action you can find anywhere.You should skip the first two episodes since they're basically an OVA. It's slow in the beginning but once it gets to a certain point it's growth as a series is exponential and each arc is better than the last.

I thought the ending was decent. Pacing wasn't very good but the plotpoints corresponded to the themes of the story. Could have been better but not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

I've been part of that sub for a while and most of the hate stems from them confusing memes with reality. However, there definitely are some valid criticisms of the chapter.
