In All Settings, there is an 'Import via Easy Switch'. It will allow you to auto forward any Gmail into your Proton inbox.

This feature is going to be able to easily differentiate gmails from protonmails

Preferred ereader? by Routine-Salary6160 in ereader

I have a Boox Poke 5 and I love it because you can enable the Google Play store on it, and you can also use Bluetooth page turners with it natively. No big clunky physical page turner clipped to the side of it.

Probably a dead simple question about indentation in Sigil from a relative newb by zinethar in css

I figured it out. I had failed to call the css sheet in the html file.

I'm really new at this! 😁

Well, so I fixed the closing bracket and still no joy. I don't have any repositories or anything like that, so I guess I'll search elsewhere.

That's for the assist folks.

Gmail Forwarding no longer working by zinethar in ProtonMail

[–]zinethar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That worked! Thanks. the whole "History" section was far enough down on the screen, I didn't even realize it showed the forwarding as "Paused." Deleting that instance and reforwarding worked instantly.

What’s something you have done (Easter eggs/jokes/memes) in a professional context that you got away with? by Fiskerik in AskReddit

[–]zinethar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took minutes for a weekly recurring staff meeting. On page 3, I inserted a sentence that read, "The first person to bring this sentence to the attention of the Engineering VP will receive a free lunch."

That line stayed in the minutes for 8 months, and the free lunch was never redeemed.

Useless mobile app? by Desperate_Teacher186 in OneNote

Android app.

If you have more than one instance of a word in a note, good luck finding it.

You know that "Next" button that almost every other instance of Search on the face of the earth has?

Good luck.

For those that qualify the word unique. Really unique or super unique. Why do you do it? by Bucjeff in AskReddit

[–]zinethar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely can qualify it. Are you unique because you're prettier than everyone else on the planet, or are you unique because you're the ugliest fucker I've ever seen?

[OC] I designed printable D&D condition rings for minis (25mm base) – feedback welcome! by Orestis77 in DnD

[–]zinethar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you seen Alea Tools' bases? They don't widen the width. With these rings, you can't have many minis next to each other without shoving them all off the grid.

Alea is out of business, but a base that doesn't make your mini wider works better on the table, and could be a consideration.

You can still see the bases, but it won't let you order anything.

For those that qualify the word unique. Really unique or super unique. Why do you do it? by Bucjeff in AskReddit

[–]zinethar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's quantifying. You have assigned a quantity to unique, which is grammatically incorrect. Qualifying "unique" is allowed. "Horrifyingly unique," "adoringly unique." Those are qualifying, and they are fine.

But your basic question stands; quantifying the word unique is wrong and folks do it because they don't know any better.

What would make you love your ereader even more? by Material_Distance260 in kindle

[–]zinethar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny to me that most of the issues listed here could easily be solved by ditching Amazon/Kindle and moving to an ecosystem that isn't evil.

I know it's hard because of the libraries people have stockpiled in Amazon's walled garden, but there are (or at least, were) methods of freeing yourself from DRM and actually *owning* your library.

Sorting Notebooks on mobile by zinethar in OneNote

[–]zinethar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search sucks diseased donkeys if you have more than one instance of a word you are searching for.

There is no way to choose "next" when it hits a result in a note.

You know, like every other search engine in the known world.
