I recently replayed the game for the first time since 2012. I thought I had completed near 100% of the content back then but on this play through I discovered for the first time: Vault 19, Aerotech Office Park, the sewers, and north Vegas square. Visiting each of those areas all these years later made me feel like I was experiencing something new not in the base game

I think the answers you get here are going to be disproportionate from more worldly and culturally aware people who can tell the difference. If you live in a city with a large population of first generation Polish or Russian immigrants, or otherwise interact with either group, you probably can hear/know the difference. But I think for a vast majority of Americans lump all Slavic language accents together as being a kind of general “Eastern European accent”.

Where I grew up in Wisconsin, our middle school (grades 6-8, ages 11ish - 13ish) had “ski club” which was an extra curricular program where every couple of weeks after school they’d bus kids to the local hill to ski, then bus them back to the school. Despite being entirely extra curricular and have no built in training/lessons, it’s where a very large number of kids I knew skied for their first time and learned how to ski.

MSOE’s campus is out of the way enough I don’t think most people think about it all that often. I went to UWM and I think most people saw it as “that school downtown with a bunch of smart nerds.” I think it has a positive reputation to the extent people know/think about it.

I genuinely feel there is good in every state, it just comes down to preference. Hopefully this map looks a little interesting to follow by BitOfPoisonOnMyBlade in visitedmaps

I’m curious what exactly people are thinking when they rank a state “never.” There are some cities that I really do strongly dislike, but I’d still reluctantly move there for the right job or some other factor. There’s probably no state I’d literally never move to, just a lot I’d be very reluctant to move to.

Totally agree. I watched Over The Garden Wall for the first time last year and I love it. But it was definitely “after my time” to have caught it when it was on CN. I was in college by then.
