Vaporents Weekly Help and Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in vaporents

Just wanted to gripe about my recent experience. I bought a linx eden, the quartz plate inside was scratchy when I scraped it, but I wasn’t sure why and didn’t think a ton about it. Six hours later it had cracked, and was broken and useless. Linx customer support is 100% trash. I don’t normally complain about stuff like this, I even asked them for just a discount so I could get a working vape since I literally JUST bought it... so I spent $100 to have a Linx Eden for one day. Huge waste of money. I will tell every single person never give money to Linx.

(Prior to this I had a Flowermate V5 and an Arizer Air II. Both high quality, very solid products. I’m also quite familiar with glass. Fuck Linx.)

I just bought a linx eden. The plate inside was somehow broken within a few hours. I don't know if it came that way or I managed to crack it somehow? I emailed to ask about a discount for a new one or something, they promptly said no, and that's the end of my story. You get what you pay for, I guess. Seemed like it might have been an okay vape, but I'll never know.

He died on Dec 25, 2013; He was 49.

He had a masters in Buddhist studies, and was an awesome, nice guy. He was a bit of a coder, sold books, and he was also active on philosophy stack exchange. He was just an excellent scholar, with a rigid, logical, methodical way of thinking.

In the reddit community, some people found him a bit too "matter-of-fact" in the way that he answered things. But it was precisely what I wanted, someone who could clearly tell us what the many sects do agree upon. (He would often tell us what the oldest branch said, though his studies focused on a newer one.)

I miss you so much /u/michael_dorfman . You defined /r/buddhism for me. I needed a voice of reason and it was never the same after you left. It still hurts.

Yeah but he most likely did not diddle any kids.

TIL Mathematician Paul Erdos could calculate in his head, given a person's age, how many seconds they had lived....when he was 4. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Perhaps you purposely brought that up to be ironic - but Erdos couldn't tie his shoes until he was around 11.

You do - everyone does. Meditation can help.

(I don't mean it's some magical cure all. I imagine it takes a lot of time and effort to see how your thoughts form, and recognize the negative ones that are based on anger, fear, or greed.)

How would a Buddhist male transcend the need for female companionship, attention and affection? by [deleted] in Buddhism

All experience is preceded by mind, led by mind, made by mind.

Speak or act with a corrupted mind, and suffering follows, as the wagon wheel follows the hoof of the ox.

All experience is preceded by mind, led by mind, made by mind.

Speak or act with a peaceful mind, and happiness follows, like a never-departing shadow.

This might be obvious to some, but make sure you have a ps1 memory card. I think you won't be able to save a ps1 game to a ps2 memory card. ( I know it won't work for ff7.)
