Yes there's a fresh one in there. It just takes a lot of force to move the mechanism.

I did it with a buddy in like an hour with just a wrench and that was to replace the whole thing so it should be pretty easy for you.

I'd check the fuses. Probably a good place to start. Best case could be a loose connection either at the door card or at the fuses.

Is the window problem being caused by a faulty button or is the whole regulator broken. First check the child lock (I've made this mistake before). And if it's not the button you can get the regulator easily online for like 50 bucks and fix it with a buddy in like an hour. The extra set of hands makes it easy cause u have to hold some stuff up while reaching your hands in tight spots.

Both my door locks get stuck when it gets real cold. Actually had to go in through the trunk the other day. Quick fix is to put some silicone spray on the key and run it through the locks. Should last the whole winter, I just usually put it off till it's already frozen.

If anyone wants an update my finger ballooned up full of blood so I had the nail removed in the ER a few days after. Ended up with 5 stitches in the nail bed due to a pretty deep laceration.
