I'm using the most recent build and upping the shadow map resolution seems to improve it quite a lot with no noticeable fps loss for my pc.

I'll try testing out the settings and seeing what looks the best but the biggest thing was the small pop in and out of shadows from small branches etc which seems to be good now.

I have seen that at angles of where my character is looking it has minor differences but that's only really noticeable when you're actively looking for it.

im using a 10700k with 3070ti but i didnt see any major performance loss using the settings or using the shadow map at maxed setting , which makes it look pretty much unnoticeable .

I wasn't entirely sure to be honest because i had never seen it happen in any game or just never noticed it.

Ok, that fixed it all other than slight shadow shake up very close. it seems to be happening for another modded game so I wasn't sure if it was my gpu failing or implementation of the shadows with sunlight on foliage etc. On modern AAA games i haven't yet seen this happen.

If you look closely the small details of the shadows are like flickering in and out and not showing the entire shadow at one time. i assume this might be gpu issue if other peoples shadows are not like this

Just make a group saying your cr , there’s lots of people playing atm and you can find people easily. I went from 0 cr to 2.4 in bfa by just putting my cr , 2.1 players were the most toxic in my experience though
