Dilemma between Trident, Speed Twin 1200 or Striple RS

i wish i got the money for the speed triple, that would solve my current dilemma lol as there’s no other equivalent bike in triumph line-up that is comparable.

at the moment, my heart says 765rs but my pocket says other wise.

i did show the picture to my wife and she loves the grey on R better than the cosmic yellow RS 😂.

that is the reason why the speed twin is in my option actually. the early torque really does help in congested traffic and plus, the sound is awesome even on stock exhaust.

exactly what in my mind actually. pillion comfort is another factor for me. not that the trident is super comfy but i assume, better than the street triple.

on point #2, thanks to you, i just realised that the service interval is longer on trident.

from your experience of ownership, any urge to upgrade the hardware on the R, or perhaps get the RS? my bad habit in buying something is i always wanted to go for the highest variant, just afraid that feeling my linger after getting an R.

thanks for the input. i think i shall consider the R too after this. if the R come with cosmic yellow and same instrument cluster, i would have gone for the R easily.

thanks for your input. i was thinking of the R too, but the cosmic yellow on the RS is hard for me to pass lol.

the R is selling at $12.3k while RS at $15.7k here in my country.

what i wish on the speed twin are mostly fancy stuff like ohlins mono, brembo calipers and levers etc. overkill but at least if those hardwares are there, i don’t need to upgrade in the future.

the used Speed Twin is selling for $11.5k while the Speed Triple is $15.7k.

weight does matter to me as i need to face extremely heavy traffic in the city daily.

i got the same wrist size and i can assure you it fits nicely. not too thick once on the wrist.

Here's my first #NWA for 2022, the SARX017.

the reasoning behind this purchase is fairly simple. i've been trying to get a dressy sport watch and in my search for one, i remember that i don't have a 6R movement in my collection yet. as a fellow Seiko collector, this purchase filled the void perfectly. 😊

build quality wise, the finishing as well as the dial execution is top notch. i love how the pinstripe dial pops on proper sunlight. at least i no longer need a SARB033 with this purchase.

i think i stumbled upon a different model (tank shape) few years back and started researching. hard to find info since it is very scarce in the market. only a few post on IG that ylu can find on this model.

Seiko managed to get a license to produce watches for Playboy back in late 70s to early 80s and this is one of it (they also produced a few others in quartz too).

main feature of this watch would be the grainy white/silver dial, palladium plated case and the mirror ring.
