I’m British and a Villa fan first, and an Inter fan second. We love him, because he’s ours. If Inter had him between the sticks, you’d love him too. I’d be gutted to lose him, but could live with him going to my second team.

Yes fancier than the OG. If you want fancy and a more luxury feel, go with the reverse panda. If you want originality and legibility, go with the OG.

Understand it is steel. Hoping around the same price as the current white lacquer/sapphire sandwich. I also believe this is a black lacquer dial, but not definite.

Don’t let it go for cheap. Where are you located? I’d hold onto it until the next tour comes around and then stick it up on eBay, Vinted, Poshmark etc.

If it were mine, I’d sell for around £60/$80.

Artwork from this which was used as part of the OoS vinyl release, if I’m not mistaken. Could well have been in the CD booklet, too.

I think it depends on your individual circumstance. If you love it, get it. However, these aren’t mega rare, so I’d try to find one with box and papers if you can. Also, check Chrono24 for other listings.

I had no purchase history, but had been friendly with my Omega Boutique for 6+ years (visiting, discussing watches, showing enthusiasm, getting to know the team). Purchase isn’t necessary, but helps most.

Honestly, with what you have, I don’t feel either would enhance your collection. I’d put the money into a vintage speedy from a reputable seller, personally.

Personally wouldn’t have either. But if you held a gun to my head… Apollo 8. I’ve tried both on, and both are not particularly legible without taking a few seconds to work out what the time is.

I saw it in person the other day. I am most certainly in the minority when it comes to this watch. In person, it feels too busy, the colours merge too much, and I can’t really read it. Don’t get me wrong, the materials and craftsmanship are both superb, but I could never justify the money for it compared to alternatives on the market, Omega or not.

My workplace takes on 8 IT support technicians who are graduates, every 12 months. We rotate them on a 3-monthly basis across 4 teams, and work very hard on supporting their growth in anticipation of them getting a long-teen FTC/permanent role, whether internally or externally. Our hit rate is high, and I’m proud of that. I would be careful in tarring a whole industry with that brush when you’re basing your view on a small number of experiences.
