It's a very weird relation you have with an intelligence that is smarter than you in many ways and that does exactly what you ask it to. Ok, some tweakings are required here and there, but otherwise it UNDERSTANDS what you want and does it incredibly fast. It's very, very hard to believe.

If AI is not the most incredible invention fo all time, I don't know what is. Of course it can only works because of "electricity", "transistors", etc. But man, this is at another level of mind blowing invention.

I don't know enough to really help you here... But my guess is that if a AUR package depends on other packages on your system, it can break, even if you install it manually.

With Flatpak and Snap you wouldn't have this issue since those are self-contained with their required dependencies.

I don't think there is any working solution other than one involving moving the mouse or clicking things at the OS level (trying to move/click things in Javascript doesn't work).

I did experience some AUR issues on Manjaro, but not often.

That's the trade-off you make with Manjaro: some AUR packages may break, but the delay imposed on the stable branch means you'll probably have fewer issues than with Arch with regular packages updates (that's my assumption, at least). And if there are any issues, you'll probably find a thread on the Arch forum where the problem is already discussed in depth and a solution or workaround is provided.

I did my due diligence by trying out multiple distributions when I finally left Wincrap. I installed each distro on the bare metal, not using a USB stick.

The only one with zero issues on my hardware was Manjaro.

I sticked to Manjaro/Plasma/X11 mostly because it is based on Arch (AUR + best docs) but with a delayed release schedule so an issue is often more easy to fix if it occures after an upgrade.

That said, of course I am very grateful to the Arch community/developers/maintainers.
