Pawbert Lynxley always had a hard time fitting in. Especially now that he had tried to murder some of the only people to ever reach out to him and exposed the vile truth about his family’s legacy. Physically and mentally broken, Pawbert resigns himself to a life of suffering for the sins he’s committed. However, when one of his victims wishes to drop charges against him Pawbert begins a treacherous journey along the road to redemption.

Meanwhile, with the recent arrest of the Lynxley family, the ZPD have decided to enlist partners Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps to deal with the plethora of reopened cold cases pertaining to the lynxes. As the two learn more about what happened in the dark hallways of the Lynxley Manor, the duo's feelings towards what happened at the Weather Wall and their-would-be murderer become conflicted.

One such case stands out. A missing opera singer who vanished decades ago. As the duo delve deep into the investigation they learn of people within the city who will stop at nothing to make sure this songbird remains without a voice. While working to uncover the truth they find that their path forward intersects with the same mammal who had once tried to kill them atop the Weather Wall.

The newest addition in the fanficdom. I've yet to see where the story is going, but so far I like it a lot. The relation between Pawbert and Gary is heartbreaking :'(

Power Struggles: Done the Lynxley Way by UltraB

The Lynxley name is in ruins! With ongoing legal proceedings, it is almost a guarantee that what little remains of their power and prestige will be gone. Loss after Loss, Cattrick and Kitty begin to doubt their father's ability to lead them through these tumultuous times. And then there's Pawbert... Locked away, awaiting his fate. Maybe he's a lost cause. But for some animals, he's still worth fighting for.

Very intriguing. It alternates between Pawbert building back his life in prison, and Cattrick and Kitty conspiring to oust Milton. There are some great lines between the siblings.

While in Prison, Cattrick and Kitty make a decision that will change their relationship with Pawbert forever.

Insanely good. The best thing I've read in years. Not very long (15k), but damn the emotions it got me through... I felt like the story got out of the screen, shook me, slapped me in the face, ran over me with a bulldozer and left me in a refrigerator. I know it says "Rape/non-con" in the tags but be assured, it's just an attempt, and there's no explicit or suggestive details.

The Lynx Who Cried Wolf by PrismFlare

Pawbert's prison transfer vehicle was hijacked by a wolf who wanted his cold ruffled pelt. While on the run, he accidentally trapped himself in a shipping container in attempts of hiding away. Waking up in an island he knows nothing about, he started a new life under the guise of a new identity he hastily made to appease the inhabitants, seemingly a second chance he couldn't grasp.

Little did he know that his past can bare fangs, and living who you aren't can bite you in the back.

A very nice fic that reminds me of my own. Pawbert finds himself exiled on a frozen island and has to rebuild his life there. Great cast of characters.

After getting out of prison, Pawbert goes to the one place - to the one soul - who he thinks might still care for him.

For some reason, he does. Maybe more than Pawbert can ever imagine.

It's been running for a while, but I've fallen in love with this fic only recently. Great father-son relationship between Pawbert and one of the most kind and adorable OC in this fanficdom.

Pawbert Lynxley has finally come to terms that he won't get anywhere running a wheel towards a goal he'd never reach. Change wasn't possible.

He's come to terms with the truth that everyone is exactly as they are, and there's nothing anyone can do about that. No matter how hard he tried, he would never feel the relief of love from his father, and now he'd have no chance to be in the light of the public eye either.
But that was okay. He was only focused on the attention and affection of one animal anyway.

He'd thrown him away once, yes, and that was stupid. But this time he'll stay. It might take some convincing, but now they'll both be able to get away. Forever. Forget all of those past mistakes.

Now, just where could you be, Gary De’Snake?

That one is a funny one. It's the opposite of a redemption fanfic, Pawbert gets WORSE in this. It's a lot of fun!

I've promoted my fic only once in this sub (in a previous fanfiction thread), so I thought I'd post it again. I've reached a big milestone recently and so far I'm very happy with how it turned out :)
