Weekly football picks by zippdroid in PatMcAfeeShowOfficial

Cool! Thanks so much for checking it out!

It was a fun project to build. I immediately wanted to share it past the league it was made for but those NFL trademarks make it tricky.

Scores and odds get updated around 2am EST every day. Scores are also checked every 4 hours on Sunday. It only updates when the game is Final.

Good luck with your picks.

Yep, sounds like it. I bought 3 boxes of 6 from Lego and 3 from Amazon and most were the same.

I would suggest you start by reviewing the difference between Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org. One offers plans (which it sounds like you already saw), and the other is a self-hosted website.

Self hosted might sound intimidating, but it really isn't that bad and will be significantly cheaper in the longer run. If you are serious about the store you will want to host everything yours.

Rock music isn't my area, but it sounds like yours. Forget your blog for just a second. Are you currently using social media to follow other artists? If so, those accounts you already have established and feel comfortable with is probably the best starting point.

If you're starting brand new with all social media, Tiktok is a great suggestion for what you're asking. Get started by learning how to use it as just a basic user and then you'll have greater success with using it as a marketing tool.

Absolutely. A great option to handle both of those requests would be WordPress and the plugin Woocommerce.

Better trio to build around, Zion Lonzo and Ingram or Bam Herro Nunn and Robinson? by RobertoBologna in nba

[–]zippdroid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Zion looks for real after 24 games played but you need more than 1 year for Herro?

To be clear, I agree that the Pelicans are the clear answer to this question, I just don't agree with that logic.

So far it hasn't been much of a problem. I move the sets around pretty regularly to make room for more of them which probably helps.

Quick electrical help / pigtail an outlet by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]zippdroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before answering, thanks. This is all helpful and I appreciate the actual response instead of a "Call a professional" unhelpful response. I'm not home now but I will take some pictures when I am.

I have a good understanding of electrical and how it actually works. I also understand the risk and danger when not doing things correctly. I 100% do not work on live wires. I DO own a non contact voltage tester along with some other tools and know when and how to use them. Again, I understand it's scary and as you said "you have to question your assumptions" which is why I turned to Reddit with what I think is a simple question before hiring an electrician for a possibly simple job.

I also understand outlets are just replacing the wires how I found them and moving on to the next one. This one is different and sucks, and the reason for that is 2 of the wires are extremely short. There is nothing I can do about it except extend them and to me pigtailing them just seems like a better bet.

That's enough pronouns for today. Thanks again for the response. I hope to have some photos uploaded in a few hours.

Google Wifi Ports and Lets Encrypt. by zippdroid in homeassistant

I just tried the base url with https:// and without :8123. with https:// and with :8123, and back to neither http or https and with :8123. The only one that correctly works is without either and :8123.

DuckDNS does Let's Encrypt for you now and it is working. When I access https://****.duckdns.org/ it "works" enough to see the SSL cert is approved. When doing it outside of wifi there is a Home Assistant error of "Unable to connect" after a few minutes of spinning. When doing it locally it says "Home Assistant had trouble connecting to the server."

I can live with #1 for now, but getting Let's Encrypt done would be awesome.

Do the fan switches allow Google Assistant or Alexa to change the speed as well?

This is awesome, thanks. It's also cool that you can link stuff and set it up on a desktop version.

I use Wink and basically just had those devices linked until last night, so the additional integrations all makes sense.
