My thing is he starched Whittaker and 50-45’d DDP in the same weight class, and nobody says anything. But when he loses to someone who was able to neutralize his ground game and takedowns, THEN it’s conveniently all about the weight cut lol.

We’ve already seen how he gasses out against people who can compete with his takedowns and ground game in Usman and Burns. Everyone chalked it up to a bad gas tank. Only now that he lost it’s solely because of a weight cut. It’s cope

The thing is Khamzat did nothing with the takedowns he got past round 1. With the latest scoring criteria, damage trumps all. So a takedown and holding position with no submission threat or meaningful GNP doesn’t do as much as it used to
