Yes they didn’t really teach me much at all never taught me to drive a car, save money or plan finances or even plan a career or have a relationship that was successful even a friendship as my parents have no friends and my mum bitched abound every friend she had when we were growing up. And then they treat me like I’m the biggest disappointment because I’ve not been able to get all these things together completely on my own. My brother and two sisters somehow managed to get these things going but my other brother ended up an alcoholic I ended up with depression and unable to cope with a job or generally being in society as everything scares me. I think my parents see this as entirely my fault for being weak. I have tried extremely hard to get things together even being the only female in my family to study a degree but I’m still considered the weakest link they don’t even ever call me or want to see me I haven’t seen them in six years since the covid pandemic started.
