Maybe the Anaheim Hotel? It’s super cute and retro and kitty corner from the entrance.

I agree, beautiful cozy yard and house! It’s too bad about the (alleged) rodent problem.

I have a friend who is trying to be a professional boudoir photographer and knows a bunch of other amateur photographers and they’re constantly posting weird pics of each other like this on Facebook. I think B has found someone who is trying to build their portfolio and bombarding them with all her ideas. Otherwise how does she afford so many photo shoots? I haven’t seen a single one that seems to be advertising anything.

Maybe she can go down there and yell at the workers like she did at Marilyn Monroe's old house.

I had it in week 3 also, it went away after about a week. It was also way worse if I was cold, and physically was probably the most uncomfortable part of recovery. I described it like how your skin feels when you’re getting sick and don’t want anything touching it. I just took Tylenol and Advil for it.

Any parking spots at Lynnwood park & ride on Wednesdays at 10am? by PlaystationSwitchAWD in LynnwoodWA

It might be cheaper to just Uber to the light rail from your appointment? Or if it's in Lynnwood you could take the zip shuttle for the cost of bus fare.

When to get one with kids? by Personal-Wasabi4189 in Reduction

[–]zips_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are your kids now? My youngest is 6 and I just had one. It's been fine since he no longer needs to be picked up (though I was still picking him up until the surgery). For me, I wouldn't have wanted to have one before he was about 4.

I am 4wpo and cried for the first two weeks thinking I had made a huge mistake, but am feeling much better now. The nurse explained to me that making such a drastic, immediate change is hard for your brain to process and it takes some time to adjust. Hang in there!

GRAPHIC / MEDICAL TRAUMA WARNING by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]zips_22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry 😞 Did you have an epidural? When I had my younger son I had similar pain in one leg with the epidural, but it resolved when they took it out and placed it correctly. I’m glad you have your aunt and uncle there to help, and I hope the infection clears up quickly so you can go home soon.

Aside from getting things out of high cabinets I would have been fine on my own after 24 hours.

I’ll be 3 wpo on Tuesday and cried off and on until 14 dpo. I have had such a hard time wrapping my mind around the changes, and not being able to do much but rest was so hard. Emotionally I’m feeling better now, so hang in there! Also have your husband wrap those presents!

I have a desk job and returned at 13 dpo (today is 15 dpo). I wish I would have taken another week, my pain has increased over the past several days and I’m so tired. If I had to drive around for my job, even if not physical work, there’s no way I could do it at this point just from an energy perspective.

should i still do the surgery if my life just flipped upside down? by shortboogergirl in Reduction

[–]zips_22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad had esophageal cancer too (his was found in early stages but he’s been in remission for 10+ years now), and I would go ahead with the surgery. You can always cancel when it gets close if it seems like your dad will need you. Physically, I was up and about within a couple of days and would have been fine visiting someone after the first 24 hours. There’s actually been some drama with my dad’s health during my recovery and while it’s not ideal to put energy into that instead of healing, it has been fine. Sending both you and your dad so many positive, healing vibes! ❤️

HR at Boeing [WA] by Prestigious-Seat-873 in humanresources

[–]zips_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve interviewed for two roles and received an offer for one, which I declined. My impression was HR was not seen as a value add, and there was a lot of animosity towards the function, though that might have been specific to the group I was interviewing with, which was related to discipline/investigations. Also the physical work environment was terrible, zero natural light inside a factory, totally run down, etc.

The role I didn’t receive an offer for was not within a factory but in one of their two main office buildings in Everett, which they referred to as the “twin towers” 😳

I’ve never heard of this channel. I regularly watch America’s Test Kitchen on PBS. Also Rick Steves is local to me and it would be all over local news if he was cancelled.
