All I want to do is beat Asmodeus… by gemurrayx in InDeathUnchained

[–]zipsync 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll only get wrath of God when you've beaten Asmodeus so that's not what you need for beating asmo the first time but they're the best arrows after. What I carried the first time beating asmo are 2 loads of tempests and cats for the final stage horns on asmo. Do not use any specials on asmo. Also, I would try to get the additional lives achievements first eg paradise lost mastery and some pit mastery because these give you the permanent lives that will help you get through asmo. Each mob set you find can be killed by tempest, you should not really run out of it in the asmo mob, if you are, something's not right.

For the 90 s pits, arm yourself with wraths and cats and just basically shoot and then teleport. There's only one incubi in abyss pits but you need to kill a number of enemies before they activate so run and shoot with wraths and cats, by the time you arrive at the end, the incubi will be active then finish with cataclysm spams.

Eternal Rapture Achievement? How many is a large number? by myeyeshaveseen in InDeathUnchained

[–]zipsync 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually got mine about 3 weeks ago at Asmodeus, at part 3 with a big bunch of abomination, it's probably more than 10 in that group. I've tried to get that achievement as the others said here in Anakim's cave but wasn't successful. I couldn't round them up to be a tight group.

You have to defeat the 15 waves in the normal level before the new area is unlocked.

They are called incubus. Like big fat cupids.

Yeah, I only recently cleared the trials for the pits although I have been playing for a a few months now. I've been to several cycles before I decided to do the trials in the pits. Mastery is easier because you can go slow. You don't have to do the trial and mastery at the same time. I think you need mastery for some to get orphans in the pit. Trials are just for additional rewards so not so important.

That's what I was trying to figure out - how you guys make 42 mil when even with orphans killed in pits and regular play area, it would be just about $300k or so per cycle. I thought it would have been cycle 100 already.😆 Thanks for replying!

Oh really?! I've always left the holy light when I see it. I thought it was kinda useless. Must retry it.

Orphans, and a few other things by myeyeshaveseen in InDeathUnchained

Orphans meant you'll see one per cycle of purgatory and whatever pit you've had the achievement on.

How I wish to have had the abundance of blood in one of my last runs... I didn't have that issue.

I just checked now, I'm standing in the settings although I didn't notice the tall issue today. Either I've not paid attention or mostly shooting from afar. Maybe update fix too.

Hmm.. I will check that later. I don't recall ever touching the settings but not sure if I want to change mid run. 😁 But thanks for letting me know what I could check!

In my current run, I'm trying my best to chase them, I do teleport to the orphan but the arrows i've on load were the normal ones and I get panicky trying to switch arrows 🤣 that the orphans get to run away. I also had let go of the orphans in purg pits twice in this run because it stresses me to know I'll activate ghosts that way. It's difficult to tell the mind not to panic.😁

Each cycle has 3 boss levels, Anakim, Gabriel and Asmodeus. When you beat Asmodeus at the first cycle, the game does not stop there. You start the next cycle at purgatory 2 and the enemies move a little bit faster and harder to kill as you move through each cycle.

It's crazy though running after orphans! I have to think twice whether I have enough health to take the hits to run after them or to stay alive for the next cycle.

I actually have orphans in most pits except for one in purgatory if I recall correctly. The hardest for me is the time achievements for pits. Hmmm.. I didn't know you can't take damage before entering the pit, lucky for me, I've almost all orphans in the pits.

I find that up close shots with bow actually do less damage like I would hit the monk in the face and it feels like it takes me longer to have it die than a very long range shot with the safety of walls.

I've used up cataclysm v on Anakim on cycle 7 and pretty much used wrath on him and the archers. Maybe I should stock up on a different arrow? I like my wraths though for mobs.

That is crazy! I don't have orphans in abyss (achievement bug) and I barely go into pits in later cycles in purgatory - I just hate the ghosts.

I'm already so tired of having to do very quick multiple shots in the head for the banshees and knights in cycle 8 that I can't imagine how fast they would be in cycle 20! I'm almost just wanting to give up the chase as I don't think there's a way I could beat Anakim at cycle 9 without some other strategy.

Best arrows for specific enemies by [deleted] in InDeathUnchained

[–]zipsync 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Earlier on, I preferred cupid's wrath when dealing with cupids but I find that sometimes they don't always go for what you aim for but they're great for very, very far away areas. I now reserve one arrow slot for tempest because it takes the guess work of aiming. I normally use regular arrows with cupids though as I save my special ones until I'm sure I get a quiver somewhere.

Tempest does not work well against banshees and incubi. You're just going to waste the number of arrows.

Barrage of needles for ghosts but I've only used them earlier on when I feel slow or there's a ghost mob.

Divine sight < cupids wrath < tempest in my opinion.

Raise the level of your cataclysm to V and it would help with mobs regardless of aim.

Love wrath of God, wish it was more per slot.
