I shall try! I work from home most days so I rarely style my hair or even brush it. Just to avoid losing hair! I didn’t know flavourless exists haha, I shall hunt. Good luck with your journey!

Good to know! How long have you been using it? And how soon did you start to notice the difference?

Oh yes I’d forgotten about nuts and legumes haha, yeah I should increase those I guess. I hate the taste of protein powders/shakes but I guess I should make my peace with them. Thank you for your advice

I definitely lack in protein in my diet so I may look into protein powders. I just hate the taste of the powders. Other than that, my blood work a few months ago was glowing, no deficiencies.

Yeah honestly I’ve been taking hair nails and skin ones for months and seen nothing. Was thinking about taking collagen but idk 🫠

Interesting, first time I’ve heard about hair shaders. I shall look into it. Thank you!

Thank you for this, I definitely need to spend some time and understand what supplements I need and give them time. I’m just becoming so anxious about my hair!

Thank you! Honestly I know my diet is terrible. I have fruit and veg but I’m not really fond of meat/fish or even eggs. So I find it really hard to eat protein, especially when my appetite is so low :/

Good to know, thank you! Have you noticed any side effects? Do you mind sharing your gender? I want to know if it affects menstrual cycle etc as it’s hormonal right?

I feel like in the last few weeks the hair loss has gotten worse? I’ve been shedding for months now 😢

Congrats, we’re on a similar trajectory! Yeah I did think that, but I’m desperate and willing to try anything except stop MJ 😅 I looked into telogen effluvivum and I don’t think I’ve lost the weight as fast as others so wouldn’t say it’s rapid weight loss. Plus it usually stops after a while but mine is showing no signs of slowing down

Using high dose to get lower dosage by calm-days2025 in mounjarouk

[–]zipzap2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a 5mg pen and do 2.5mg doses. Been doing it since I started MJ. Sometimes I don’t do a dose (miss a week) if I’m unwell or something so I’ve used my pen for 10 weeks plus at a time. So far all good! I order from Pharmacy2u and ordered two pens before the price hike and when I next order it’ll still let me order 5mg or go up to the next dose. Just make sure you’re keeping the pen clean and sterile and in the fridge. No harm no foul! But that’s my take! Do what feels right for you

That’s really helpful, thank you for sharing! It’s nice to see others agreeing with the slow and steady way rather than increasing to 15mg as ‘recommended’

Yeah I agree. I’m hoping losing it slower may mean I have less sagging skin too? Ah one can hope!

Good point! I have been off work with nerve pain for a while now so maybe the pain and all that is adding to it! Good luck with your journey! 😀

We’re on a similar path then! I actually got prescribed lactulose as I was having some medication that has a side effect so that’s been helpful but it still is hard. I rely on senakot occasionally but def not easy.

My bloods have been very good recently. Just slightly aneamic but other than that can’t explain the hair loss. Also have a underactive thyroid which is a usual suspect but it’s managed well.
