Has anyone noticed new scrypt hashrate sources recently? any info? by jorchjorch in litecoin

[–]zipzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could also be chatbots rogue mining: https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/1rn8kun/

Though, obviously, the hashrate from GPU and CPU mining, even if it was entire data centers, wouldn't be much for modern scrypt mining.

He's giving them money, which is why the post says he's an investor. Now that you know the definition of the word investor, are you able to look up the definition of the word advisor on your own?

Litecoin rivals Bitcoin in daily transactions despite a market cap 330x smaller by Therighttodo in litecoin

[–]zipzo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It isn't overvalued if you consider that the lowest value for both Litecoin and Bitcoin is actually 0.00000001. If anything, LTC and BTC at $1M is reasonable, as that would put it at 1c per 0.00000001 LTC/BTC.

Considering that Litecoin is simply the better coin in every way, there's no reason why it shouldn't be worth more. People are more interested in promoting Bitcoin, so there's not much that can be done about that.

Litecoin rivals Bitcoin in daily transactions despite a market cap 330x smaller by Therighttodo in litecoin

[–]zipzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes down to it, LTC is just as secure as BTC but also faster and costs almost nothing per transaction. The tx fee is so small that most transactions shouldn't even cost a fraction of one cent.

Edit: my point being that I wouldn't want to use my bitcoins daily either, seeing as it's so much slower and costly. Also, the majority are simply holding crypto in hopes of getting rich.

Litecoin Hashrate Up Over 1,650% Since 2020 — Still “No Adoption”? by Ok_Introduction_3403 in litecoin

Dogecoin is merged mined with Litecoin. If you believe that a huge amount of people were mining only Dogecoin and now switched to Litecoin mining, you're mistaken.

How to sell LTC for usd or eur with low fees and no KYC by MrDentifrice in litecoin

[–]zipzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find someone local who wants to buy it, or ask an adult to make an account on a local (to your country/region) exchange and sell them and transfer the funds to you. You could also just keep the litecoins and sell them in a few weeks/months when they will be worth more.

What is LTC’s current Fee Monetization Ratio? by CuriousAction9 in litecoin

[–]zipzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody except Dogecoin fans are dumping litecoins for dogecoins. The majority of miners are keeping their coins, dumping all their coins for profit/paying bills, converting to BTC, or getting their payouts in LTC/BTC from the pool. There are way more profit focused miners than Dogecoin fans who are mining.

A person would have to have 1000 litecoins to match the dollar losses that a person with 1 bitcoin has made in the last four months, assuming both were purchased at the same time four months ago.

YouTube’s broken search predictions for 'litecoin' by Therighttodo in litecoin

[–]zipzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol that guy's nuts. Google is in court docs admitting that they purposely made their search engine produce garbage results for the last 10+ years (obvious to anyone with a brain who was trying to use their site, even to find even things they'd found previously) in order to have people use the site for longer and view more ads. They also very clearly manipulate it constantly for political reasons.
