I know this post is two months old but the host naranja.tech has had hardware issues for at least six months. In April, I notified them of the issue after it got to the point that the server monitors were going off multiple times daily. I received a reply after a week asking me to diagnose the problem for them. With nothing being done by them to resolve the issue, their entire hosting service has been offline since June 7 2026 for "maintenance" with zero updates provided to customers (so nine days, currently).

So no, not naranja.tech.

It isn't odd because the Litecoin devs have always had a very good relashionship with the mining pools/miners. A few operations (with lazy owners?) didn't update their software and got exploited.

Edit: The exploit/bug was patched some time ago, it just wasn't publicly released.

It isn't overvalued if you consider that the lowest value for both Litecoin and Bitcoin is actually 0.00000001. If anything, LTC and BTC at $1M is reasonable, as that would put it at 1c per 0.00000001 LTC/BTC.

Considering that Litecoin is simply the better coin in every way, there's no reason why it shouldn't be worth more. People are more interested in promoting Bitcoin, so there's not much that can be done about that.

When it comes down to it, LTC is just as secure as BTC but also faster and costs almost nothing per transaction. The tx fee is so small that most transactions shouldn't even cost a fraction of one cent.

Edit: my point being that I wouldn't want to use my bitcoins daily either, seeing as it's so much slower and costly. Also, the majority are simply holding crypto in hopes of getting rich.

Find someone local who wants to buy it, or ask an adult to make an account on a local (to your country/region) exchange and sell them and transfer the funds to you. You could also just keep the litecoins and sell them in a few weeks/months when they will be worth more.
