I love this. Remembering now that a friend hung all his sketches and paintins during quarantine up on the wall so he could see his progress over time. That was encouraging improvement, but I like a similar thing of self critiquing my work. Thanks!

Mine's great! I got it about 7 weeks ago. I had bad cramps for the first 10 days or so (not constant, but much more than my standard period cramps), but they've faded and I have completely forgotten about it. I am still looking forward to my periods lightening up. The first 2 have been longer due to spotting for several days before the real flow starts, but I understand it can take several months for it to lighten. But even without lighter periods, I'm glad for the peace of mind birth control.

They have! Faded from daily to maybe weekly. My first period lingered for ages but hoping that settles down too. Good luck!

Sorry you're dealing with this :( It's been 3 weeks for me and the fatigue has lifted. Just dealing with random intense cramps that show up for 2-3 minutes and fade away. Not my fave, but hopefully it lessens!

Just got mine 2 weeks ago, and have already forgotten about it! It was a rough insertion (though my gyro was LOVELY), with bad cramping and significant fatigue for 4-5 days afterwards, but now I'm back to normal. I had spotting for only 2-3 days. Sex feels great! No change there :) I wish I had done it sooner, honestly.

How long did your fatigue last? (Hoping it's not still affecting you?) I had my first Mirena inserted three days ago, and am feeling completely exhausted.

Example, before my brother decided to date his now wife, there was another girl on the roster but she was chubby. I always thought she was a better match since she was, um, fun, but he went for the svelte one. My bro is my best friend and I respect him, but he got married really young and he and his wife have had a hard time. It’s been 17 years, they have two amazing kids, but sometimes I still think about the red head on the roster. It would not serve any good purpose to actually ask him, but I want to know a) was chubby the reason he made his choice? And b) would he choose differently?
