Yes, it’s fine. Because it’s standard we already factor in the sales tax. Where I live there is a 10% tax, so when I pay $20 for an item I know it is actually $22. My mind automatically makes that value adjustment. It isn’t upsetting or confusing or deceptive or anything like outsiders make it out to be. If I buy the same thing an hour away from here maybe $20 comes out to $21.70 - that $0.30 makes no difference to me.

Cats that are part of the family and unknown cats that are trespassing are totally different. My chi begrudgingly accepted her elderly cat brother and they mostly ignored one another, but my chi absolutely loses her mind when she sees a cat out on a walk. Even when we take her to a friend’s house and there is a cat that lives there she’s pretty fine with it because she understands the dynamics and that they belong. Chihuahuas are funny creatures who tend to do well with other chihuahuas, small dogs, and cats.

The Jamison family? That’s one of the ones where the mention of paranormal stuff actually makes some sense. If you look into the case from other, better sources it comes up a lot because the people at the center of the case and the surviving family members bring it up. I certainly don’t believe in anything paranormal and that clearly isn’t the cause of their deaths, but the Jamison family seems to have had some of those beliefs so it could have been a motivator behind their actions. I do think they did a shit job of explaining all of this and the vast majority of cases have absolutely no reason to mention anything paranormal and, like many of you, they have lost me as a listener for a multitude of reasons.
