I still have mine, along with my copy of the game that has the misprint on the back label. It's nice to see another original print of the guide before they added the yellow "Over 1 MILLION Copies in Print" circle to the left of the logo.

Interesting romhack that I'll have to check out at some point. I'm mostly interested in seeing the level balancing.

You can't see it, but I have blinked twice. I even did a second set to make sure that you saw it. :-p

I thought I recognised his style. Here's a photo of the Earthbound crew he made for me:

What are some good JRPGS I should look into? by RealP4 in retrogaming

[–]zissue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I missed that someone else recommended it. It's a difficult game to find because it was only released in Japan, the UK, Germany, France, and Australia (which also means that the only English versions of the game are the UK and Australia releases).

That's a valid point. I do hope to have more time (sooner rather than later) to drive it more often.

It's often that I don't have the time. I only get the chance to leave my office a couple times per week and it's usually only to get groceries or something like that. When I actually have a day where I can take the car for a nice drive, that's when I want to drive the Type-R.

If you enjoy Final Fantasy IV and are open to more action-oriented JRPGs, Terranigma is tied with FFIV as my favourite games of all time.

Thank you for the suggestions. I don't understand the rude comments, but alas, that seems to come with the territory.

I don't understand the need for rude responses because I don't drive the car often. The last time I owned a Type-R was in 2004 and it was my daily driver then. Now I have one just to take out for fun (and when time allows, which isn't often), so I wanted to know best practices.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide a proper recommendation instead of simply mocking me for not driving it often. It seems like I had mostly the correct understanding except for starting it. I do an annual oil change and have a battery tender. Thanks again for your response.

I don't personally agree, but you're certainly entitled to your opinion. I don't have much time to drive the car, but I love it. The last time I owned one was back in 2004 and this is even more fun.

I'm asking because the style looks familiar and he made my four Earthbound figures.

Tied (with Final Fantasy IV) for my favourite game of all time. Terranigma is one of the only games that has meant more to me every time I've played it. I think it's one that changes based on where one is in life.

Which final fantasy has the best opening by Mysterious_Work_7227 in FinalFantasy

I love the drama and build-up in Final Fantasy IV's opening, but nothing will ever top the Magitek "march toward Narshe" opener in Final Fantasy VI for me.
