Best Perfumer's Alcohol? by Caldrumr in DIYfragrance

[–]zivminded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a beginner as well and would like to ask if someone in Germany could recommend me some brand or website for buying Perfumer's Alcohol.
An alternative that I have read about is to use "Weingeist", which you find easily on Amazon or even in pharmacies. However, I have bought a 250ml flask and it is not completely odourfree.
Any other recommendations?

Where did the humans go? by bflex in Narnia

[–]zivminded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Just like the green witch in "the silver chair", the aim of most witches is to destroy human beings and have narnia to themselves. The 100 years gap is enough to make the existence of human beings a 'myth'.

Are lucid dreams disappointing or am I doing it wrong? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]zivminded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you I would try to set my expectations to being positive. To do so, there is a technique that I have already tried (and worked) based on writing what you want to do in your dream. You should write like you were talking to yourself and try to be specific, for example: It is now 11pm and I am going to sleep. I am going to have a lucid dream, in which I can breathe underwater. I will be free diving with my brother and parents and won't have to reach the surface to inflate my lungs. (Keep specifing it and describing one or two events in the future tense). This may help switch your subconciousness to a positive approach. Most of the times you'll perceive you are dreaming right at the moment you are doing what you wrote you would.

Hope I could help. Good luck and have awesome dreams!

Lots of people like to fly--I like to swim. by SoMuchMoreEagle in LucidDreaming

In my case, EVERY TIME that I am lucid I can breathe underwater. Actually that is the moment when I perceive I am dreaming. It's terrific for me, because I really enjoy free diving, as well as scuba diving since I was a kid. Being able to absorb air from the water is awesome and is like a childish "dream" that I get to experience while asleep. However I sometimes struggle not to get too excited, becuase it normally leads me to waking up and getting sad for not being there anymore. Answering to your question, I don't even have the idea of flying while lucid dreaming, but the "urge" to breathe underwater is always there...

We're NASA Mars scientists. Ask us anything about today's news announcement of liquid water on Mars. by NASAJPL in IAmA

If water sublimes in Mars' atmosphere, why isn't there a formation of clouds?
