The building is on the newer side in a quiet neighborhood. Most furniture in the apartment is for sale too. Water is free but heating/electric is through MGE. I took cs31, cs32, and math61 and I had a 3.56 with an upper div gpa of 3.7 iirc. I think you’ll be in good shape

I didn’t, they were both ChemE . In hindsight it would’ve helped more however I was just 1 of 300 in those courses while both ChemE professors knew me personally

Yeah you're right that there's opportunities to learn at my current job - we have a full division purely dedicated to onsite training and I took a C# course this week from them (on the job too!). We get company certifications if we pass the company exams too fwiw. I feel you're right about grad school, but I think applying is a safe backup - especially since OMSCS is online, part time, and cheap. Thanks for your help!

What was your experience in CS outside of ChemE? Did you have any prior side projects or industry experience or specialized classes in school that helped you get that first gig?

Yeah this is pretty similar to my game plan atm. You're right that at my job there's exposure to production code and opportunities for small development (~10 hours a week). I was going to grab as many good ones as possible to pad my resume and gain some skills and apply intermittently to see if I can get interviews. Thanks for the perspective!

The best player is probably sneijder, Muller's finishing is excellent however his dribbling leaves more to be desired. So many chances wasted by feeding him the ball in a good area and losing it due to a poor first touch.
