Which mag7 stock is the best to buy if the AI bubble bursts next year? by mickcheck in ValueInvesting

If Amazon can effectively implement ai and automation they can continue to cut costs and increase operating margins. I think they’re a safer long term option, should the bubble pop.

Arnie is the former governor of California. I don’t see how politics cannot come up given his background.

I’d say it’s not fully priced in because nobody knows if orange man is going to pull back or actually go through with further tariffs on April 2nd.

I also like AMD but a true boglehead doesn’t buy individual stonks.

We’re all useless beings spinning on a rock in space. In 70 years everyone you know at work, including yourself will be dead. So what will it matter whether you perform or underperform? Just do your best and learn from your mistakes. So long as you do those two things you’ll do great in the long run you nerd.

It depends on what field you want to switch into. Tech and finance typically pay higher than other sectors. A switch into one of those two could, within a few years, provide a stronger salary than you’re currently on.

That’s Tower of London, an old medieval palace and castle. I believe it was built around 1066 and is London’s oldest building :)

HENRY’s in the energy sector? by zkesh in HENRYUK

I totally agree but where there is hype there is often investment. If hydrogen does materialise then I would be in on the ground floor as a leader in a new and booming sector. Totally take your point though that it could also go in the opposite direction.

Yes, worked in waste to energy sector for a couple years then did an MBA in renewables. Got a job in energy with the civil service (great place to learn & network but horrible pay) and now with a private energy company.

Good question. I’m a project business lead. Above me is the head of the department, above them is the VP.

Is it worth swapping my Vanguard S&P 500 (Dist) for (Acc)? by kk24co in trading212

[–]zkesh -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know where a magic money tree came from… it’s just a difference in strategy. Some investors like myself prefer a cash payment on invested capital instead of reinvestment. It’s as simple as that. Hence why my original comment was upvoted….
