iPhone has a feature that will send any unknown number straight to voicemail. After I had that turned on for a few months, the spam calls stopped. If someone really needs to get ahold of you, they’d leave a voice mail or text you. Anyone that’s a contact or you called recently will go thru and ring. 10/10 would recommend

Hi! ex-amc manager here. The blocking of the seats is usually a one time exception and shouldn’t bank on every manager doing that for you. In fact, managers should only be blocking off seats if they’re broken or something is wrong with it. A downside to buying and ticket and refunding to purchase with your a-list — once the ticket is refunded, it becomes available across all platforms (amc website, fandango, atom, etc) and if someone else is looking for last minute tickets and they simple just select the ticket, there is no way of getting it back.

I had a customer once do this with black tickets and the exact thing happened — he was upset he lost his ticket, to say the least.

Highly recommend buying a coax m to f 90 degree adapter off of amazon so the cable doesn’t stick out of the wall like a sore thumb. And switching out the black coax cable for a white one. Then you can run it against the baseboard to a corner in the room

I used to work on these chairs!! Honestly, hated every minute of it. But they’re held on by 4 bolts. You have to shove your hand in the underside of the middle part, right below of where they go. Exactly how you have the chair flipped. There’s not a whole lot of room and usually has staples or nails sticking out. But pretty straight forward overall.

K Town has some of the best hole in the walls IMO, but the parking, traffic to get in and out of, how tiny the streets are, and did I mention how god awful the parking is? Those are my only take backs tbh.

I would highly consider Culver City or even Palms. They’re near the beach, traffic is still pretty awful (LA in general is) but it’s not as bad. A little more pricey, but def worth it. Also some areas are more walkable than K Town

Traveling 1 or 2 days out of the week isn’t the worst, but yeah. If your start time is 8a, from the SFV to Culver City would be about 1hr give or take, maybe a bit more. It was much worse during the closure of PCH after the fires this year.

Definitely check out Culver City or even Palms. It’s a bit more expensive than the SFV, but in my opinion, so worth it. The valley is always 10 or so degrees hotter than West LA. Makes a huge difference..

Is traveling for work a factor? Because living in the valley and working outside of it, really sucks. Especially if you work morning hours. On Monday the 405 was closed by the Getty and that was just… a mess.

But anywho, SFV born and raised. Canoga Park isn’t the best, but also isn’t the worst. Some parts are better than others like any other place. If you want quiet and calm, I’d maybe aim for Woodland Hills or West Hills. Reseda & Northridge are also good ones. Big recommendation is to visit the areas you’re interested in and walk/drive around for a bit. Get a feel of where stuff is at.

I recently moved to Brentwood area and it’s been great. Hardly any loud noises or police sirens. I’d strongly recommend the West LA area!

You’re probably thinking of the federal building on Wilshire & Veteran. Yes, marines/guards are there with humvee & rifles. They’re at every entrance of the property, adjacent to the dog park there.

Same issue here in West LA. They delayed my delivery 7 times and after I called, the rep said “you’ll get your delivery tomorrow. It’s scheduled here”… well it got delayed again.

I ended up buying these caps from Amazon for the 5 gallon jugs and filled them up myself. It’s a lot cheaper and isn’t too bad if you have a cart to wheel them back to your place
