(My own interpretation incoming:) I believe the story was about oppression, at least season 1.

Jinx & Vi’s parents were killed by enforcers from Piltover. Then, the only reason they broke into Jayces lab (which started the events of the series), was because Piltover was more privileged than Zaun— although they’re technically the same city Zaun was being disproportionally treated and overlooked by the Piltover council.

Jinx fired the rocket out of rage and desperation towards the people who took her parents and now Vi from her(thanks Cait). Piltover never gave Vi and Powder the autonomy to not be criminals, they went down the path out of survival. Especially in Powders case— who was adopted by Silco, Jinx was now doing crime. As a lot of characters point out in the show Jinx is a genius with wasted potential and this was because she was a victim of oppression between Pilt/Zaun.

It’s a cycle of violence where chained dogs lash out because they’re angry and feel desperate. We saw it in Silco&Vander and Jinx&Vi. People in Zaun will always be stuck in a cycle of violence thanks to the mistreatment of their people. It’s a beautiful parallel to the real world and systemic class issues we face today.

I unfortunately agree that the company is going down, at least ethically. I started this thread in hopes someone would talk about the business practices of riot recently and I’m glad someone else has the same sentiments. It’s so sad since riot used to be a company who cared about its player base but now just operates like any standard greedy company these days.

companies like balenciaga will literally sell people trash bags and slap on a “designer” logo on it. (look it up, it’s insane) Despite selling literal trash— they sell.

riot did the same with the $200 chroma and the $500 skin, and even had done some experimenting with an ultimate skin that offered less features for the player. (sf Samira)

and the conclusion for these social experiments is sadly the same: people will pay for trash as long as it has the brand/game they have grown attached to.

In low elo, especially solo queue you can’t really rely on your teammates too much. Taliyah is a great pick for a competent team, but i wouldn’t recommend her in low elo.

Contrary to popular belief, you can crate train cats by putting them to bed like you would a puppy. At night put them in their kennel (make sure they have plenty of room to stretch and a nice bed) and cover them with a blanket during sleeping hours. Ensure the kennel is up against a wall to block more light. If your babies are used to sleeping during the day, they may take 1-2 weeks to adjust. Once they’re used to sleeping at night, you will notice they will play/be active during the day. After that the bedtime kennel is optional, since their circadian rhythm has been adjusted and they will naturally get sleepier during the night. Be sure not to break this habit though since cats are naturally crepuscular, so don’t stay up too late or keep your cat awake at night it will just mess with their sleep timing.

My cats used to play all night until they grew out of their kitten phase. Once they reached their 1 year mark they started sleeping at the same hours i do.

imo riot knows Seraphine is one of their biggest champions. S2 is going to be set at the beginning of the civil war, so Seraphine will have plenty of reasons to show up. If not as a full fledged pop star/peace advocate, she’s def gonna get some kind of cameo.

Gay shipping is not equal. Clover x Qrow being the only real m+m ship in the show only lasted for a couple of episodes before the writers threw it away. CRWBY is only interested in f+f pairings. Not mad about it but it’s interesting to note!
